So finally have come to a close - everything took much longer than expected(I fully believe it was not on J but the s as everything from ‘x’ area to mine seems to have the same issue recently). This is likely going to be quite long but I’ll do a quick TL;DR re-cap if you want to skip to that at the end. I’m an anxious person in general, with recent events and multiple Ls that nearly put me down past my breaking point I took a serious gamble(not much in reality, but to me at this point was) based solely off the input of a few members that I really don’t even know, but seeing them in other threads I’ve frequented with similar feedback as mine made me deem their judgements trustworthy. Typically it takes multiple pages of overwhelmingly great feedback to convince me but being down, out and desperate - I saw a figure that fit exactly what I had for a page count I needed and as a last ditch effort went for it. And man, am I glad I did.

Jax initial, post, and overall comms no matter when you send a message is some of the best, extremely friendly, helpful and polite as well as typically quickest I’ve received. There’s something about the way he talks that is also just very re-assuring - which during the near 2 weeks from dough nation to l@nding I convinced myself that con-men tell you everything you want to hear as well.. but that’s not that case here. I know there’s some sort of saying “never trust a friendly book representative” or something like that, but some just genuinely are and treat us subscribers like real people who they want satisfied with not only the reading we donated for, but also with how we feel after interacting with them. I’ll tell you first hand I’ve gotten some great books from authors that were pricks and the lacking sense of appreciation for continued, constant support paired with getting bitched out for simple ?s doesn’t help ensure loyalty. Jax was one of, if not the friendliest author I’ve had the pleasure to work with and even checked in to see if things had landed yet. Though at the time they did not, it was still nice to hear from somebody after donation was complete - plus he helped reassure that I was in good hands when I expressed my anxiety over throwing what last bits I had his way. To make a shorter, to the point summary - overall comms/character are 11/10 and I won’t be anxious to re-subscribe.

The magazines I donated for, while higher than my usual subscription(that no longer exists anyway) were well worth the increase and are of great quality. You can tell the pages are clean with no(or minimal at worst, I’m no expert) bad ink/unofficial articles within. The aroma of each new turn of the page has that familiar, official tone to it. No overly saturated smells that make it obvious it was recently given a bath in a s0lve ent. No questionably shiny parts on the pages that are notorious in re-publications that are passed off as original magazines. Just a good, high quality real reading experience that I’ll certainly be back to.. shortly lol. 10/10 there as well

I don’t really want to judge as it took about 2x as long as one would expect and a few in here received their subscriptions at least twice while I waited, and waited.. but as mentioned before I don’t think that was on Jax. Many subscriptions from area ‘x’ to me have had trouble making it in anything I’d consider normal, so my best guess is he held his end up but the ones who take it from there are just shit at their job. But either way it did indeed land(just under 14 days) and was as described. Better than expected to be honest

TL;DR version - 10/10, hell 11/10 across the board. Between reading quality and character of this author any drops in rating due to lack of speed I find negligible and keep my rating 11/10. Some of if not the best reading I’ve done on this topic and a super friendly and helpful author to work with as well. Really glad I took a dive with this one.

Definitely made a large purchase (although what some of you guys consider large is insane) and will report back on arrival. Since I lost my old email, and password I am on a new account. His prices were definitely cheaper after hyper checking everyone, and I mean everyone. However as someone from the 2018 to 2020 era on here there is one classic/infamous magazine that has gone up in price so high it is absolutely not worth it from any vendor to the point where I am shocked people are justifying this price point. Due to the obvious nature of it, and the high consumer need for it that will be around for eternity no purity will ever make this universal/acceptable (since every vendor has similar and even more expensive prices then Jax) I am just shocked by what has happened in these passing years. Regardless nothing ever excites me at all, and I am looking forward to this read. Emails were quicker than anyone on here, and almost immediate back and forth like an instant messaging service. I felt no hesitation or that annoying feeling like you are being overbearing or stepping on someone's toes when you actually do have important questions, and no one should me made to feel this uncomfortable insecurity when it is not deserved on yourself. You are paying, and deserve to ask questions. He has been friendly and informative, and I will update upon arrival and quality.

Second subscription to jax's ski magazine, just as satisfied as the first. Great quality and easy to read, very little editing of the pages. Make it to me in less than a week which is always appreciated as well!

It did however pop poz for f3nt . While not surprised, I did reach out to Jaxx about it (only because 4 and ch1n@ wh1te are both sold) and he said some batches of 4 have F present in small amounts, it varies from batch to batch...

Not upset, again I expected it to pop. However it definitely seems like "trace amounts", and not overly added, as the legs are very very long much like the old school bags i used to have to drive to the city for.

May I suggest maybe adding a *May contain* disclaimer ?

In any case, this still turned out to be a solid product despite my fantasy of a f-free world. Jax is great to work with and quick to reply to any comments/concerns.

Also bonus shout out the h@rd is amazing too

I just donated first time to Jax overnight and got an answer at 3:30am. 7 hours later, I wanted to add to my donation and double up. Jax responded go ahead. That’s where we are currently. I’ll update later. Reading about HQ snow skiing and a mag about the effects of attention deficit. Very eager to see the material. Placed and received my second order from Jax, for a magazine about Bees, Issue 974.
Sending Payment and shipping info was easy, and simple as usual.

Quality of the pages was still just as good as last time, excellent imo, and I they read amazingly also.

As always Jax was super friendly and responsive.
Shipping time was a bit more than last time, but still reasonable.
I placed a subscription on Nov 18th.
It was stated to be shipped on the 19th.
Didn’t pop up on U5ps ID, until the 22nd, as in pre shipment/label created.
Jax reached out on the 25th, checking in to see if I received the package yet.
Told him not yet, and ID was saying delivery would be made on December 1st.
He told me ID sometimes lags, as we all know ofc. Said it should definitely come before then.
Imagine my joy when I saw the next day it had jumped from across the country and made it out for delivery on the 26th of November.
Overall 7 days from day after payment was made, to day mags arrived safely.
Which was longer than I was expecting based on the last subscriptions speed, but I must say Jax reaching out to me to check in before I even reached out to him, really is the kind of professionalism, and customer first attitude, that those who do this, and last, all seem to have.
I Look forward to many more subscriptions in the future Jax.

Shipping speed- 10/10
Had my first subscription arrive from Jax yesterday.
As stated in my previous post, I ordered from Jax on 11/1, a Saturday, received confirmation as soon as subscription fee was sent.
Shipping label was created 11/3 which was Monday. USPS took possession of item on 11/4 and it arrived to me yesterday 11/6. So 4 business days from order to arrival. Am very very satisfied with that.

OPSEC-10/10
Not much to say here, was on point with it. About the usual you expect.

Comms-10/10
Was very friendly and communicative through the
process. Didn’t speak to after placing subscription, because I never felt the need too tbh. Made me see very comfortable

Quality-10/10
the Mag I subscribed to was about Bees, issue number 974. Was exactly as advertised after reading through a few pages.

Overall 10/10
Was very happy with my first subscription from Jax. Will definitely be ordering again, and would recommend to anyone looking for that same magazine.

Ordered Sunday early morning and 8 days later, even with the Holiday, I received the mags. Skiing HQ and Bees issue #974. Just starting on the skiing mag and it’s superb like a prior reading experience I had in the 90’s. I’ll update on the other mag later, but I rate the entire experience a 10/10 from quality to opsec to elapsed time.
