Roxicodone

Last night I crushed and snorted a whole one slowly.  Then I immediately swallowed another, melting some under the tongue, so 60mg total.  That was better than the 75mg I took over the course of the other evening cutting them in half, but man...that's a lot of $

I shouldn't have to use up $50/day...I would definitely NOT recommend the K9!

 
Got replacements this morning.  Super fast as usual.  Definitely [M]!

Trying not to get my hopes up, but will see how good a single 30 is when I get a chance...

Okay, tried them last night, and I'm happy now.  A little bigger than k9 and much softer.  They break and dissolve very easily.  I just swallowed 1 [m] last night around 6pm, and the experience was better than swallowing 2 k9 the other night.   Also, I break them up in my mouth a little...not sure if that makes a difference.  At the 35 min mark, it was very nice.  1 hour was pretty awesome.  At the 3 hour mark, I went ahead and swallowed a k9, then 20 minutes later swallowed my last k9.  That was probably a waste at that point, but there really is a big difference.

The only thing I have to compare to from past experience is hydro 7.5/325.  So one [M] is definitely as good or better than 4 hydro/apap.

I'm thinking about trying the OC 80 next order.  SY guy said something about OP 80...is that the same thing, but newer?  Not as good?  Other suggestions welcome /default_smile.png

 
Huh! Mine were hard as rocks and I almost cut my finger wielding a pocket knife to try and break them.

Be very very careful with extended release. I personally like a good ER but alot of people don't. You can't go around popping a bunch when you don't "feel" it. It can take a few hours to build up in your system enough for you to notice. They are great for chronic pain but if you're mostly a recreational user I'd skip these.

Man, i tried Roxy instant release for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Up the nose.......holy fuck! And I am mot an opiate person. Just wow! Something to never do again, if you catch my drift. Not sure what brand it was. Good thing I am not rich or stupid. Or both. Lol! With my addiction history...well.........

(Not saying those who take are stupid, just soya know)

I, luckily for my wellbeing, am terrified/repulsed/panic striken at the idea of taking meds any way but orally. I've had friends who I've watched snort, smoke, inject, and even stick em up the rear! I'm okay with just waiting however long it takes to kick in normally. I agree though. Rocksies are crazy, dangerous good.

That's interesting.  I just broke in in half with my hands easily.  I just wanted to see how easy it was.  I swallowed both halves.  Did you get them from J?

Would you call a vik 7.5/325 extended release?  B/C I was okay with that.  I kind of like the "feel" to last longer personally.  I was pretty surprised with how fast I feel the roxy even orally.  Would never inject, but the only problem I have with snorting is that I'm afraid it won't last as long.  Tried the k9 that way and wasn't impressed.  Might try the mbox like that...

Also, totally not judging and feel free to make your own choices but your usage increase is a little alarming. Going from vikings 7.5 to snorting 30s is a huge leap up the ladder. Next step 80s is another large jump imo. If the Vikings still "work" for you maybe you should go backwards not forwards with your dosing. Again I'm not saying not to decide for yourself it's just a worrying trend. Much higher and you have nowhere left to go up without turning to heroin.

 
A good rule of thumb is always take the weakest med at the lowest dose you can that allows you to control your pain. Same with recreational use in my eyes. Take the smallest dose that gets you where you want to be. I even use potentiators to help me get the relief I need with the smallest amount of narcotic.

Extended release is a type of formulation they put in some pills. It's not an opinion or anything. They are made to release smaller doses of narcotic over a longer period of time. Usually they say over 12 hours though they always seem to end in 8 hours for me. There is a long media documented history of recreational users ODing on this class of meds because they redose when they don't get high and then the extended release function drops a bunch of active medicine in their system at once.

I get you.  By "viking" I am referring to HYDRO/APAP 7.5/325 prescribed by a doctor.  Is that the same as "viking"?  You still think that is instant release?  It took about 20-30 minutes, but seemed to last a long time.  I started out taking just 2 or 3, but then I was up to taking 4 or more hydro 7.5/325 in an evening, so one 30mg mbox should be equivalent, but a slightly better value.  Am I right?  As for the 80, I was thinking about just taking 1/2, because $/wise, that's a little better deal, although 40mg instead of 30...

 
Vikings are just what HB calls those and we've all sort of adopted the term. Yep, same med. Yes, all of them are instant release.

The new formulations of the 80s you can't break in half. They slowly release the active ingredient over hours and hours.

I just got some from a different vendor, and I agree that they are much softer than the K9s.

Okay, thanks for all the info.  I guess I might have found the best bang for my buck.  I may try to get some more vic 10/325 next time to see if I can get away with less than 4.  The ones I had from the doctor were pretty old too.

EDIT:  I'm a little concerned about the APAP though...

The other thing J mention to me was the OPANA G74 40.  Know anything about those?
