yeah but isn't the password restricted to sponsors anyway? why not just make that section private like the other ones? or is "brand new members" inclusive of sponsored accounts that are newly registered?

The password isn’t given automatically, at least by me. I don’t give it to brand new members.

@Steviejay88 if there's one major takeaway i've gained from all the indictments against onion farmers it's that you should never rely on server-side encryption for these kinds of things. please refer to hansa as a case example.

- A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 so as not to stir any pots, I'm not an expert on this particular forum software however I know natively it doesn't. that doesn't mean a plug-in wasn't used of some sort, if it's even possible. check out the dev console in your browser and poke around now you've got me curious
