My experience over the last 3 weeks is that P@xful is a snakepit of scammers and thieves. 🏴☠️ I would not recommend it to anyone who is inexperienced in buying BTC online.
After 4 aborted attempts at small purchases where each of the sellers tried to talk me into buying BTC outside of P@xful...
@Ruthiejams Before my CBP interview I didn’t know that the topic would arise and the officer hit me with it cold so no need for the Imodium 😉
The think that surprised me most is that the collective “government” pieced together info about me and connected the dots from a casual name and address...
I have had a terrible time with PAXFUL. Perhaps I'm just having bad luck but every attempt has failed - usually because the BTC seller wants to sell far more BTC than the quantity they post and want to sell offline via text message.
Two days ago I tried to buy $250 of BTC using PayPal on...
I’ve a different Paxful problem - ID verification.
Ive been trying for a week to get the ID verification to work and the Selfie step fails every time. The problem is simple... the pics of my ID upload with no problem but the site then attempts to take a selfie and despite showing my pic...
I received 4'ish about 10 years ago and then switched to a very reliable sender. (I received one about 2 weeks ago... new sender.)
I never heard anything about any of them except when I went in for a face to face GOES interview with CBP a couple of years later. The gentleman interviewing me...
Thank you @spurnky for your patience!
I was thinking about the relative risk of the two options.... 1) send from exchange to final recipient, vs., 2) send from exchange to intermediary wallet and then to recipient.

Technically they were forced back to work the last time they went on strike in 2024, so this is the same strike for the same reasons in 2025.
@Alkazar:
I dont know how to direct reply to people on here. But the Canada Post strike will affect any mail coming from the US. It will be held at a facility until the striek is over. Mail that is being sent from CAD to the US will just not be picked up. It all has to be private delivery services now.
