    Kratom Discussion

Cost of capsules will depend on the strain. For example, 56 g bali at Kraken Kratom is 16.95. The same amount of that strain in capsules costs 29.95. I'm not great at math but I think that's about a 70% increase. I prefer capsules myself, but it's a lot cheaper to buy a capsule filling &amp...

How to tell if you're a rapid metabolizer?

About 10% of the population has the genes to rapidly metabolize kodean. That means it affects them much more strongly & they can redose more.  Now i don't want to go to doc & ask for a test because it will go on my chart & no one would prescribe it for me again. But I suspect I'm...

    The next President!

I was actually wrong on the drug war point. Since he has come out fully in support of Sessions who believe drug laws are not tough enough. But I don't think Trump feels very strongly about anything other than making money and feeding his ego.

Not really an addiction, but worried about dependence in my daughter

Thanks. Things seem to be going pretty well. I suspect I was just a bit panicked.

    Nucynta - Tapentadol

It does make you tired, which is odd since it is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (it increases the neurotransmitter associated with wakefulness)--I'm guessing its caused by a rebound effect. Its biggest drawback, for me, is that it increases my anxiety level. It's supposed to be 4x more...

Not really an addiction, but worried about dependence in my daughter

She has a good medical team--no PM specialist but her's is a complicated case & we've got 3 docs, all of whom know her. She's getting a liquid formulationso it would have to be IR. Her neurologist felt we should focus 1st on extending the time between  doses & that seems to have worked...

Not really an addiction, but worried about dependence in my daughter

My daughter has some serious medical issues (she has cerebral palsy) and has just had her 2nd major surgery this school year. She's 11 years old & is nonverbal although she  understands everything & will answer questions with her eyes (she has an eyegaze computer--like Stephen Hawking...

Do you tell your better half about this?

I don't talk to my wife about it & she doesn't ask. I feel a little guilty about the money, but mainly because I should be saving it for my daughter, but I justify it since she spends tons on clothes and various Amazon junk, some of which just gets thrown out. And I still manage to put a...

    LSD microdosing

I think the LSD microdising is mainly a placebo effect. I did a lot of said substance when I was a teen & if you want to do it 2 days in a row you really need to double the dose to get the same effect. I think it's because it takes 24 hrs for your serotonin system to get back to normal. So...

Not sure where to post this one...

Here's an interesting article on abuse of medications that theoretically don't have abuse potential (i.e., aren't scheduled) http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/842222_3 You have to join medscape to read it all, but it's free to join & is just a health information site. A lot of people in...

    Trump vs Clinton?

Thank you. I can agree with most of that. I typically vote democratic but mainly because it's the lesser of 2 evils. I think that's going to prove the case with Trump too. I'm a libertarian on social issues & somewhat one on foreign policy. I think out of our moves in the mid-east have...

    Trump vs Clinton?

Well you managed to miss my point completely. All Muslims does not equal radical Muslims anymore than all Jews equal radical Jews (and yes there were a number of Jewish communists & anarchists in the US who committed acts of terrorism). Also, never said Cato was conservative. The words were...

    Trump vs Clinton?

I agree with your stand against female genital mutilation, but I'd point out that it's not practiced in any of the countries Trump is trying to ban visitors from. It's also not a Islamic practice--it's an African practice. It's just wrong to assume all people of one group or religion are all the...

    Doctors who poorly treat pain

The CDC released new guidelines for opioid prescription last year. You can find them here https://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/volumes/65/rr/rr6501e1.htm Basically they're recommending people get the weakest thing possible and only a few days worth for acute pain. The problem is that Purdue lied to...

Anyone had a package that contained a level 2 product confiscated

By level I mean Schedule. I'm wondering if the response you get from the powers that be is different or is it just the usual LL?

  1. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  2. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  3. aBBazaBBa123 @ aBBazaBBa123: @rockychoc How do I contact you?
  4. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  5. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.
  6. C @ Cheesus: Thanks xenxra
  7. xenxra @ xenxra: @Cheesus yeah, use snote
  8. P @ psychedpsych: Trump is cracking down….
  9. P @ psychedpsych: Hackers are the scum of the earth
  10. N @ NYStateofMind: so it was easy bc of my history
  11. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  12. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  13. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  14. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  15. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  16. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
  17. T @ Turbo259: @Layne_Cobain Thank you fam
  18. Alkazar @ Alkazar: It is INSANE how doctors treat tax paying hard working people like criminals when they ask for opioids. This world just keeps getting more and more backwards. But thanks to this site to be able to find people to help when no one in the medical world will.
  19. L @ Layne_Cobain: Hang in there @Turbo259 life can be such a Fkn sludge prayers and good vibes to you and your loved ones 🙏 ❤️
