I live for martial arts. Isshin-Ryu and Kali/Arnis are the big two. The third is wrestling. Participate in tournaments, display dedication. Never give up. Even if you get bored. Spend much time alone getting thoughts and soul together. Spend thousands of hours training. Spend thousands of hours watching other people train, rightly and wrongly. Watch hundreds or thousands of videos of fights, amateur, pro, untrained. The names and places don't matter. But what worked and what didn't work? Until you begin to understand, NEVER TOUCH A SINGLE KATA. Then, find ways to fight and test the theories. Get good. Real good.
