Just to bump this thread up a bit. I used to take ambien ER. In that case half the pill was instant so it'd give you your initial hit to get sleepy...then the ER bit kicked in and would slowly last throughout the night. Is this how the oxycontin is meant to act? An initial bump to give your 10...

I'm glad this post took on more traction than the one I posted recently regarding a different, yet similar question. I'm used to only taking IR 10-15 mg oxy. (usually perc honestly) I have now got myself a batch of ER 20 mg oxy. Question being...is this going to be 20 mg just slowly distributed...

Sorry, so to be clear, you had xanax tested positive for fent? That's unusual. I "sortof" understood putting fent in painkillers since maybe it would trick people into thinking it was the real deal since technically speaking fent is a painkiller, but anxiety meds are a totally different thing...

I have been there @wjazz and feel your pain. It's very disappointing. Who did you get these from? 

@DoomKitty is correct. The packaging is a little misleading. Mine came with instructions though that were pretty clear. 

I guess I still need further clarification. I've tried looking into it and weirdly there's not that much information on this. I understand that 10mg OC will release over a 12 hour period. However, I guess in my head that would mean it would feel very watered down. So is 10mg of instant release...

@mikefordI agree. And right now I think I'm just really frustrated with myself that it took me this many bad orders to figure that out. For so many years they were my go-to with very few hiccups. Looks like these days I might be better off going with one of the non SY vendors instead.
