Hi Folks. I have been around this forum and it's reincarnations for a while. Also watched from a distance the rise and fall of many dark net markets.

Out of curiosity I spent an hour or so visiting a bunch of dark net markets and every single one was a scam. I could not find a single market in operation that was not a scam.

Any forum members have any insight into markets that are not obviously a scam?

Thanks All..

elysium, drughub, dark matter, abacus, and archetyp are all reputable markets

which markets are you looking at that you think are a scam?

there are legit markets but there is sooo much noise. it’s hard to find those markets actual addresses. i got taken for some $$ bc of it (my own dumbass fault, always ensure the addresses line up.) if anyone has a list of the actual 🧅 links that would be stellar…

Call me old school (and I am) but I really miss the convenience of the "open air" market I used to live 30min from. Straight to the point, no scams, waiting for delivery, bitcoin, order minimums, etc. You didn't even have to look for it and there it was..Within 10 min Hellen Keller would be on the nod lol

Hi.

Was using search engines on Tor to find markets. I think on reflection that was a bad idea. Was looking for products that came in quantities of *m, .***, **lr not considering any purchase more of a fishing expedition really so I did expect to come across a bunch of sites that directed you to Telegram accounts. To be fair some of the scams were quite good. Relatively low purchases prices but then the scam starts with additional fees around shipping. 100% refundable insurance and that type of stuff. I was impressed with a few of the scam markets. Quite easy to replicate if you know your way around a bit of html and php. An example of one was Courier Market. They have PGP and Escrow making it look legitimate if you were a bit of a noob..

Love the Helen Keller reference...

honestly in my experience tor search engines have mostly been unreliable since like 2014, I have to keep reminding myself they even exist. usually your best bet for finding reliable links will be the subdread for any particular market.

I'm willing to pay someone for a market that's not a scam... I agree every market i went to was a scam.. If anyone know a good one and who like to share it. I will pay.

I'm willing to pay someone
don't pay people for publicly available information - 99% of the markets listed on daunt.link are reliable.

Just keep in mind, obviously any market is only as good as it's vendors.
The safest markets are still gonna have a few bad apples manage to sneak in here and there plus good vendors go rogue all the time (sadly).

I think that if you stay with the current half dozen Larger Markets then buyers should be okay. Of course always check reviews for vendors, especially for recent activity.

Have researched deeply over the past 6 months or so and have not found 1 legitimate vendor that does business in Europe.

well if you are looking for these types of things maybe people just dont wanna touch you with a ten foot pole. way too hot to discuss those things, especially on here. not even dnm deals with that shit, at least USA markets. stay away dude

That is always good advice and to be very clear this was nothing more than a fishing expedition. No dialogue was had with any vendor as I did not find any....

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: yeah but isn't the password restricted to sponsors anyway? why not just make that section private like the other ones? or is "brand new members" inclusive of sponsored accounts that are newly registered?
  2. Gracie5 @ Gracie5: The password isn’t given automatically, at least by me. I don’t give it to brand new members.
  3. xenxra @ xenxra: dm admin for password. i still don't really understand the purpose of the password section if it's just given out freely to anyone who is a sponsor.
  4. N @ Nebulon Kitty: I've recently donated to become an opal member, and posted in the thread after the donation. How do I go about actually getting the password to the members area and my Opal status.
  5. CalFresh @ CalFresh: @Admin Thank you so much for your support. I am blown away by your generosity. Your contribution ensures I will be able to continue to serve this community with the same level of value and high-touch customer service they deserve. My most sincere and heartfelt thanks for all that you do! You've created an amazing place and I'm proud to be a member!

  15. M @ Mokachin0: Search vet bills if your a member who needs help with vet care or basic staples for your pet, admins will verify I’m extending a real offer
  16. xenxra @ xenxra: @Steviejay88 if there's one major takeaway i've gained from all the indictments against onion farmers it's that you should never rely on server-side encryption for these kinds of things. please refer to hansa as a case example.
  17. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 absolutely my man, good question
  18. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @Aarfgh II just want everyone to stay safe
  19. Steviejay88 @ Steviejay88: @Aarfgh yea I don’t want to start anything
  20. A @ Aarfgh: @Steviejay88 so as not to stir any pots, I'm not an expert on this particular forum software however I know natively it doesn't. that doesn't mean a plug-in wasn't used of some sort, if it's even possible. check out the dev console in your browser and poke around now you've got me curious
