Can’t find a way to send btc. ATM that allows you to manually type wallet code?

I’ve been trying to re-new my membership for months. None of my credit card companies allow btc purchases. My bank allows purchases through FinCen but I’m not comfortable doing that. I purchased a pre-paid debit card but Coinbase denied it. I added it to PayPal and tried using it on Coinbase but PayPal denied it. I found two btc companies that accept these cards but they have a lengthy sign-up process/verification and I’m dealing with so much right now I just don’t have time. Supposedly BitPay ATM’s allow manually entering the wallet code, but I read that a lot of people totally lost their money with them. Any ideas? Getting desperate. Thanks in advance.

What about buying btc at an atm, sending it to my Blue Wallet and then to DBG? I’m finding conflicting info online. Thanks!

atm seems like the most logical option based on the info you've provided so far just be prepared to pay a hefty premium if you go that route. i would highly suggest avoiding bitpay as a generality. when you say your bank allows fincen purchases, are you talking about like ACH or something? crypto is not taboo anymore and you'd be safe going this route - DBG's donation addresses are not on any watchlists nor would they have any reason to be. this is simply a forum, the staff here are not directly facilitating any commerce.

Thanks so much for your help. I can’t find the article I read about a year ago that stated that about FinCen, and after researching what exactly FinCen is it appears that was bad info. Now I need to find out if I can send btc purchases from an atm to my Blue Wallet. Conflicting info on google. Some have lost their money and others say you can but need to have a lightning wallet, which I can get on Blue. I just hate risking losing the money and I’m so exhausted trying to find a way to re-new my membership. Thanks so much, also, for confirming what I read about BitPay. Fingers crossed!

don't use a lightning wallet. it's going to require you to bridge from the main chain and when you want to send btc to dbg you're just going to end up bridging it back on chain anyway bc dbg doesn't have a lightning deposit address and i've never seen a vendor that uses lightning

Thank you so much for letting me know. I’m stopping for tonight and will start researching again tomorrow.

Hi there. I just wanted to let you know I finally found a way and wanted to thank you again for your help. I’m not exactly young and tech savvy so I’m really grateful for those who help out. Have a great weekend!

You can buy btc on cashapp with any debit card, it goes through as a cash app transaction so it shouldn’t be flagged by a bank. But be weary that cashapp is heavy, heavy fraud preventive so verify your ID and tbh wouldn’t try to make any large purchases/add a large amount of cash in the first couple days-week. And by large I mean like only $100 lol. It’s annoying at first but understandable and while I get some people have security concerns about cash app as long as you’re not stupid I can’t see anything wrong happening. Any more than what could happen with any other wallet unless you’re transferring between multiple wallets every time

Thank you so much for your help! I just saw your reply and that’s exactly what I did. Then transferred to wallet and I’m finally back as a member and looking forward to exploring what’s been happening! Thanks, again, and have a great day!

  18. D @ drdso: It's scary now fr. I'm guessing we're gonna see a lot of exit scammers for former "reputable" veteran vendors. These tariffs/supply chain issues are causing them not to receive product due to seizure/denial. At a certain point they gotta get there money somewhere. Just be careful who you buy from y'all
  19. T @ timyboy: How ya'll doin
  20. D @ dichlorodavid: Ah thanks for the clarity on the strike. I wasnt aware that this is cont'd from the 2024 strike. Hope they reach terms this time (quickly!)
