DBG Email to address I never provided you or vendor

So, I got two emails supposedly from dbg saying a vendor had private messaged me on the site, but when I checked there were no messages in my dbg inbox. The emails included pictures of the vendors dbg profile pic and a snippet of the messages they supposedly sent. I went ahead and contacted the vendor on dbg about the messages and they said they never sent them. It weirded me out so I started looking about and found this post. I dunno what's going on. I also got a weird response from a vendor in my protonmail that seemed really out of character. I'm working on confirming that was really from them right now and I'll update if I find something is sketch. I'm switching to tuta as we speak. F protonmail
 
Yeah, I definitely didn't click the links. It's good to have the legit dbg emails so I can make sure any future ones are on the level. Mad at myself now that I deleted them already without writing down the email it said they were from :(

That’s wild….. I have had old DM’s randomly pop in there and that’s wild enough.

And the comms were wired and he was really wanting me to make his forum board look better. Now I know the first thing to look at even before the menu.
