Is there any purification methods for 4our-Mem-Mem-Cee?

Ordered a big batch of this compound, I know for reference a completely pure product would be white to off-white color right. However my crystals are looking more on the tan-brownish side and when speaking with my vendor, he said this is the batch he got from his supplier. Was just wondering if there was any other method besides acetone washing and salt/base conversion?

May be if you try filtration and drying it in cool dark environment

Yeah, really want to order some, but not this tan garbage.

I want the pink tinted stuff from the OG batches.

Acetone washing is fairly effective and user-friendly.

Is there a specific reason why you don't want to use this method?

How was the quality? Like the OG stuff? Or at least close?

Well I did, but I wanna see how far I could go with it yk, if there is a specific procedure which removes more impurities. It’s not the end of the world if I don’t, I mean I feel like just based off of the things I’ve already done, it’s more pure than most out there, but I like to challenge myself when it comes to chemistry knowledge.

Not at all, you get a familiar feeling of “oh I know this feeling” but not quite the “oh hell yea this is it”. Plus for some reason, the comedown was much more noticeable now, don’t know if that’s a me thing or what.

Honestly dude it’s prob not even the genuine thing. I doubt you could possibly turn it into what you want it to be. Sorry, just my opinion

Could be something else entirely, as it’s one of the most infamously ‘mimicked’ out there. But if you search the name on r£ddit there’s countless posts on how to clean it up, it seems simple enough. I plan on subscribing to gr00tys here soon, I was supposed to already but something came up that left me short. His looks more off-white than some of the less appealing colors I’ve seen

Also does it reek strongly of p¡ss? If so it’s most likely what it’s claimed as, just not properly finished and needs to be cleaned in order to be fit for reading. That scent is due to left over m£ťhyI@m¡n£ from sin thesis and while many associate that smell to the book, it’s not a good thing and makes it much more harmful to read than it needs to be.

I can’t say with one hundred percent certainty as I haven’t tested it yet, but I got it from a trusted vendor I’ve been going too for years who’s also had great rep. On top of that I’ve had this specific compound since back in the day and I can tell when it’s different also the smell is a strong cat piss smell. But like I said I can’t be hundred percent sure without testing which I might lowkey go ahead and do just do to the amount of it I received.

Testing is always a good idea, personally imma dipshit and would just assume/trust and look up the process of finish/cleaning as it’s said to be very simple and how-tos are widely available. I think even just a simple @SSAH tone wash would result in a more readable magazine that won’t have the pages stinking and possibly won’t affect the path you read through as negatively. But by all means don’t take my advise on not testing, as in this day it’s pretty damn important to know what you’re reading. But also I don’t think any you can do at home will differentiate between related magazines, you’d have to send it in somewhere that does an in-depth anal asus
