Thought it would be fun to see what the preferred seasonal cheers are around here? //Ardvark//K is a sneaky TG fave. For xmas watching greatest story ever told, after reading much 2w0ceBea, was unreal. Also makes interacting with the holiday rush more enjoyable by understanding their energies. What are some of the faves out there, or what will this years seasonal read be?

I'd recommend the good ol' classics for you holiday reads. Can't go wrong with giving old Homer a reread, start with the Iliad if you're an advanced reader and want continuity but if you need something to read to the younguns The Odyssey is always a fun one. If you're feeling like reading the other side of the Troy story then give the Aenied a shot, it's a little more modern but Virgil really brings the Roman poetry to light for this Saturnalia. If you need something colder, well you can't go wrong with reading any of the Skalds, often they are very short unless you go for Beowulf. Unfortunately most are poorly preserved leaving the reader unsatisfied due to the methods of writing, often on shields.

If you need something more modern, you are always welcome to read Dickens, his Christmas tales are some of the only upbeat things he ever published, I find him horrifically depressing most of the time but he always injects an element of hope into his holidays.

Appreciate the cheekiness, but was interested in serious inquiries. The only thing x know is that x don't know anything except maybe donate to the forum if you're using it (;

I gotta rib you a little lol. I will be donating soon, been waiting for some of my crypto to transfer from staking so I can transfer it to the preferred donation methods. As for a serious answer to your question unfortunately I can only give old school recommendations as my experiences were mostly back in the early 2010s, unfortunately most of that class is gone the way of the dodo and is difficult to impossible to find. I'm partial to ɱҳɛ however the 卩ㄩ尺丨ㄒㄚ comes into question since most magazine providers are now pretty ᥴꪶꪖꪀᦔꫀડ𝕥ⅈꪀꫀ. Can't go wrong with ƚɾყρƚʂ of course but that goes without saying.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ribbing, always nice to come across another well read mag fan. Especially agree about dickens, tale of two sh*tt*es, but gotta admit an xmas carol will forever be a classic. Struggle of young scrooge is very relatable and especially in these times it can be hard to resist that change. Wish m/#/e had a chance to stick around for those just playing flash games then, sounds like it was the cure for scrooging.
