Bitcoin

I’m practically ignorant when it comes to crypto. I started buying a little here and there last year through one of the more “mainstream” exchanges, learned that it was better practice to pay from a self-custodial wallet and felt a bit of a gut punch when I transferred the coin to ex0du$ and lost about $50 in the transfer. Are there no issues with buying and paying from ex? I apologize if this has already been addressed here somewhere.
 
Good question, I’ve done it once purely out of desperation because c@shapp wouldn’t accept my debit card.. which I don’t understand at all because my bank is already linked you’d think they’d just transfer the money directly from the bank

I just know vend0rs don’t approve of it because I believe it can get traced directly back to you.. you have to use photo ID and all kinds of invasive stuff… I think what you’re looking for is a wallet

I tried to use cash app. I bought very small amount of bitcoin but they won't let me send it. They asked me to verify my account by sending my ID which I did. They said they still can't verify my identity so my bitcoin is stuck. They won't even let me move it back to my bank account. I've tried to verify identity a million times. I can't reach anyone for customer service.
Looking for an easier way to purchase bitcoin.

You likely added your name/s0c!@l s£c#/b-day wrong, or your z¡p code, so even though you did the entire verification process(and likely succeeded in it) something in their system detects an inconsistency and basically you’re 100% fucked on that account. You can sell the 🪙 on CA then send it back to your acc. You can also start a brand new account, make sure you get your details right and then verify again

Or if you don’t wanna do it on CA again you can download c@k£ AND £x0dus(or any other wallet that’s self custodial but allows you to obtain 🪙 through a 3rd party) and then do the Kay Why See through whichever party of your choosing, depending on where you live you may have very few or no options at all, which you actually do it’s just V££ Pee N time.(also note that most have much higher f££s than CA, I’d suggest trying a new CA account first). If I have to obtain through a self custodial I prefer £x0dus but c@k£ works just as well. Just whichever you use that you tie your actual info to(aka getting the 🪙 ) don’t send direct from that platform. I mean, you can and you’ll likely be fine, but it’s not the best or brightest thing to do. If you do manage to get CA to work definitely don’t send from there to anywhere but your own wallet(make sure no Vice President N is turned on when sending from CA no matter what) cause it’ll likely get you banned and whatever you have on there unrecoverable

IMO it’s good to start by having both of those(or whichever) wallets downloaded and set up, and the one you originally get your B(i)TC(h) on, use to send to the other that’s not tied to your real ¡nfo. Then you send it wherever it’s planning its next vacation.

It may sound complicated but it’s really not. I’m maybe a little more tech savvy than the average person, but it really is an easy, (somewhat) straight forward process that may seem complex at first but once you figure out it shouldn’t be a problem at all. It’s like a girl that’s into you and just playing hard to get - it’s ready and waiting for you, just gotta figure out the right move to get it to do what you want lol
 
i went with revolut & it took me a while to get it working but i can send now, its all about apps these days, pity as i prefer the desktop

There’s plenty you can use on desktop, £xodu$ being one of them and while I’m sure it’s updated with the mobile version and likely looks similar now (unsure as I switched a while ago) I actually preferred the desktop version. It just looked and felt more ‘professional’ while the mobile version just seems like a cheap made, easily comprised app. Which I’m sure it’s not, it’s probably my favorite 🪪 but it just doesn’t look good to me lol. Reminds me of Fortnite for some reason - just looks childish. But I love the live updates it constantly puts out which isn’t an option on C@k£ - but it looks more professional. I know a lot of people have had issues with it, and personally just had a large amount just go ‘missing’ during a 🪙 swap which is a simple process with pre determined values. I was told ‘x’ amount of one crip-toe would give me ‘y’ amount of the other and when swapped there was about 💯 worth just lost somewhere. I reached out to support but they’ve been absolutely 0 help. There wasn’t a large dip in one or the other that would cause the amount to drastically drop either, the number I received just ended up being completely wrong from what was originally quoted and agreed on during the trade. But otherwise I’ve had no issues with that one either, just be wary swapping on it and maybe use tr0c@d0r or ch@ng£n0w directly if you need to swap and not rely on an app to do it for you

Am I weird? (Seriously, I'm asking here.) I set up a CA account almost 2 years ago, and bought some BTC. I then created an Exodus wallet early this year. And I transferred BTC from CA to Ex a couple of times this year, leaving balances in both accounts. I've only sent to places other than my own wallet from my Ex account.

What I find confusing is that some recipients don't want to get funds directly from CA, while others don't seem to care. I respect that, but don't actually understand why it matters....
 
Not sending anywhere but your own wallet through ÇÂ is safer/better 0p$éç than sending directly from ÇÄ. Since ÇÃ is linked to your bäñk/débìt and other personall¥ ìdéñtif¥iñg ïñf0, sêñdìñg direct from ÇÃ provides a more direct link between you and the transaction/between you and the vêñd0r'$ btc wallet. ÇÄ can also bäñ you for sending btc through them for the types of subscriptions we discuss here, and I would guess ÇÃ would be much more willing, or at least much more able, to assist LË with looking into specific btc transactions than other, somewhat more anonymized wällét$. So what you are doing with only sending to others through Ex is good.

At the time I wrote that I actively practiced turning it off before sending external as I’d been banned multiple times and that’s the only reason I could figure out why. But recently CA has become much more chill, I also have it on 24/7 and send with it on and no longer have issues. I prefer them over a normal b@nk as they don’t seem to give a fuck what I do with my OWN HARD EARNED dinero as long as I keep the flow coming in and don’t leave the account empty for long. They also allow me to ‘borrow’ a fairly substantial amount that keeps going up as I pay it back with 0 credit check and no real Ioan-type of rep@yment interest£st, I think the ‘AP Why’ or whatever is actually kinda high but it goes per month so realistically as long as you pay back whatever you borrow monthly(I’ll do it then immediately square it up and re-do as it seems to help the ‘standing’ of my account) it’s only a few extra bucks and they easily allow you to raise the limit of what you can. I can’t say the exact amount as it’s likely a good identifier but it randomly showed up as being able to borrow 25 a few months ago and it’s now much, much higher than that lol. I’m not sure what happened with CA but they went from being straight dicks to the most useful company I’ve found to handle my shit. And I couldn’t be happier about that fact because it was becoming a real pain in the ass getting banned over and over for literally nothing. I can also acquire/xfer over 5k 🪙 per week where the limit was 1 before. Again I won’t state exact amounts but the limit is a bit overly generous yet at the same time much needed compared to the original.

is it really needed to have a separate something to buy the crypto & then send to exodus to make the purchase?

if someone really wanted to track you & why would they for smaller numbers they could anyway i presume?
 
i got recommended electrum & have it installed and its great!

my revolut app flagged my donation to this site, yeah now i really see why u have to send bcoin to a separate wallet that is not basically a nanny app
 
my nanny app now flagged me buying a small amount of bcoin on the app & sending it to electrum, i dont know why they have the crypto button on it at all if everytime you do something they want more info on it, time to move on from it i think before the kick me out that is!

interesting, i was clueless up until a few weeks ago of all the Bcoin stuff so i sent bcoin to a few vendors with no elecrum wallet in the middle so im sure i set off something in the app, wonder if i had just sent the bcoin to 1 electrum wallet, but then again every time i choose receive in the electrum it gives me a different bcoin address to use hhhmm so maybe it would make no difference, not sure really
