Wasn't just a 3000gt. Was a 96 red vr4 6 spd hardtop with like 40k miles on her. Goddamn beautiful and under appreciated by the uninitiated. The vr4s were something special. I've went through quite a few 240s (6 total over the years, literally driven to death n one way or a another. Blow out the ka20de, throw in a sr20det in, set it to 18 psi boost and eventually total the chassis or push it until you broke it. I grew up around z1 and got into the scene when they were just shop of enthusiasts that happened to be in my town. I remember when their shop was the size of a dollar store... now it is 3 stories and grew so much there's no room to have track days any more. Used to have a few days a week to go melt some tires, learn/whatever. Parking lot is always at capacity now with some nice jdm shit, new and old.


Here is a Pic of my "nicest" and final 240 build. Was a 97 w a red top w a t3/t4, appropriate supporting mods all the way to the exhaust. Wish I had an interior shot still.

Mom and pop were kind enough to offer me a sample of the mcpeeseepee - truly a favorite of mine.
They were very responsive, kind, professional, and exceedingly fast.
Unfortunately there was mixup and instead I recieved a half g of the miracle powde for 0pi users - 7up8.
I have never been a consistent reader on 0pis or even enjoyed them due to the nausea itching , and general dysphorian I tend to experience.

I’m wondering if there’s any value or sense of well being i might attain from reading this magazine - the fact that it’s a relatively light read makes me think perhaps it won’t have as many side effects.
If it’s only use it to ween off 0pi magazines I’m sure I can give this to a friend in need and am still very grateful to mom and pop

Just placed my first order, everything so far has gone exceptionally smooth. Will provide more info after my mags arrive. 🤙
 
Went for it yesterday. Placed an order. Express is always a nice option. Normally stick with same couple vendors. Figured I'd give them a shot. Very fast response. Even sent another email asking if I ordered yet before I responded. Very eager for new customers. I understand that for sure. So asked about express and general questions like how soon is an order sent generally after it's placed. Was told they would drop it same day and be here by Thursday. That's really fast service! And very specific . So far I have a shipping label created. Which a vendor shipping next day is still excellent service. But I am not sure what to think untill it updates.
 
The 4 letter word company seems to be VERY slow. My magazine is still "in transit" for about 6 days now counting today. But I probably donated at the worst time. The week of Cyber Monday and week after Black Friday. I'm sure they are SLAMMED.
 
Well I just checked. I've got the email. I paid for express. He said it would go out same day I would have it by Thursday. Well I am expecting 2 other packages. And the tracking number created yesterday is regular priority. He was so eager and quick to respond and I needed express it's very clear in the email. Sent $ and I can't get one response. I should have known better. Ship same day I'll have Thursday without even knowing what state I'm in. I was straight up lied to. And the shipping label says priority. He seemed way to eager to get me to buy. I've already got something on the way priority. I'm pissed. $35 for priority. Bullshit. I can't get a single word. Not one peep . That's what I get for going for something that sounded too good to be true. That express was to ensure I don't run out. I'm really pissed off right now. He knows damn well I paid for express and told me when it would be here. Then prints a priority number. Might send it next week. I'm a weekly buyer and was interested. But saying that shit just to get my money. And not even sending express?? I better get some answers .

  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
