I never had a problem either. Just made another order and label popped up on informed last night, should be moving anything soon. Just saying that it’s not their fault if stuff is, the center where the mags are coming out of is known for being notoriously slow…

I placed an order and only received 1/5 of what I requested. He said it was a mixup with the shipper and would send the full order again. Still waiting to see if he actually does but it's only been a day. Will update later as well.

You were told that your entire sub would be reshipped EXPRESS free of charge. Not sure what more we could've done in 24 hours to prevent the negative report.

I didn't leave a negative report. Jesus. I just left a status update of what was going on and said I'd update if all goes well. At the time there was no update from you for several days and no sign of a reship so I just had to wait and see which is exactly what I said. Nothing bad at all. Just a simple update of the situation.

So many folks in here complaining about nonsense.

Blackstar is a magician when it comes to getting packages out. I have had more than a dozen packs land from these guys and, more than once, the pack has landed without ever being scanned into ID, and they often show up early—and I am all the way across the country.

For anybody that has had packs land recently, let us know?

It’s going to suckkkkkkkk if Blackstar’s well dries up.
 
I have never had a bad experience with Blackstar, but I’m seeing some drama in this thread.

Is there any reason that I should not place an order?

Personally, I can't see a world where you wouldn't want to place an order. I've completed/received 2 subscriptions. The subscription was for a nice little series, Oh! Dee es Empty.

Mags I rec'd were tested on arrival and were f3nt/z3n3 free. I even had some friends QA the reading material, and found it to be exactly the mag advertised, no more, no less. Both times received in a reasonable amount of time. If you decide to subscribe, just read through information provided. ID, 17Track are your friends here, and publisher specifically mentions you'll not receive tracking info.

All in all, publisher is perfectly professional, reasonable, and fair, offering a read that is exactly what it says it is, at a more than fair market price.
