Buy Bitcoin

So transwise isn't associated with Bitcoin it's just an app to do international transfers. Once you get through verification process it's simple. You find a contract on Hodl Hodl that accepts transwise then you start. BTC will get put in escrow and then you get on transwise send it to where he tells you, each contract has a chat and it's all official. Don't be spooked Hodl Hodl is great . Once you pay the person you in contract with on Hodl Hodl which you will do on transwise not Hodl Hodl then you go on Hodl Hodl and click payment completed. Feel free to ask the person your dealing with for help . Most contracts I've done they was helping explaining the small steps
I don't see transwise as a payment option using USD or my own AUD. And if it's an app it's probably on the phone? (I don't use the phone for this stuff, can't see what I'm doing, need it all in front of me on the desktop screen. Plus I'm in Oz so verification might not be simple. Also did a search for transwise and get Wise formerly known as transferwise.)

I see Wise available as a payment option though.

Any reason not to use Wise?

Wise is transwise
Makes sense, and I've been on transwise for a few years now, which helps. I've even done a couple deals on it.

I suppose escrow comes into it after a deal is struck and the seller deposits the coin and HODL confirms the escrow and amount? Then I pay on transwise and click complete on HODL.

Has there even been a dispute between a buyer and a seller where HODL had to step in?

And is there a 'best' offer, or a way to determine which is best? I see various 'Prices' with Exchange names and +% beside them, but I'm not sure what that means or how to determine what is good for me. Any guidance on that?

Do the exchanges see my personal details, name etc? Or just the payment platform used and the seller? What about HODL, do they see personal details?

Sorry about all the Q's. I'm onto the FAQ's now too.

Naa I downloaded yesterday free, and honestly you use it in connection with HodlHodl ens up being completely anonymous and honestly pretty slick and the cheapest solution by far as it is P2P on the last step, first step (wise) is the mechanism to complete pymnt to obtain your BTC from P2P (HodlHodl) keep in my mind I just learned about it so verify and do the research

So what I gathered from AI response is there has been enough consumer reports to warrant rumors if that makes sense however AI said it was voted trusted by trust pilot...etc the take away I got was the potential exists to freeze your funds if they determine the TX was nefarious?!? In other words I am assuming like wallets maybe if the person you are dealing with has a history and you live in US_ then they can freeze cause technically we are supposed to follow KYC-# bullshit you know!!! Brother you have to be careful with feds&$@ they can jam flks up fir strictly records-+ I been trying all fckng night to load 2500 on my wlt keep getting failed? And my standard way is to buy and then swap...etc I think my bank is blocking+ now??? To many attempts $_ bullshit is what it all is lol

I already have a transise acc, for the last 3 years.

I already have a Wise acc, for the last 3 years. Actually did one or two transactions on it.

You're right, if the sellers Wise account isn't flagged for any reason there should be no problem. But best to keep the numbers small enough I think. No big deals all in one go, especially when we have no such history - looks out of the ordinary. And vary the actual amount, 750 here, 980 there, etc. Thing is to plan ahead and do a bit at a time, looks less suspicious and you risk losing less if they lock your account. This is my thinking anyway. Just started moving currency into Wise tonight.
Me too and doing exact same 👍🏻
