I might have made a rookie mistake cause I thought I still knew how things worked.

I had been out of the rc game for a long time and while waiting for my donation to go through I placed an order at erizolabs, I hadn't had in order since like 2011 with them. Since donating ive seen good things about the vendor etizola. I got a receipt for my order 4 days ago but no tracking info. What do you all think, am I out the money for a valuable lesson or is there any chance they actually come through.

Most of the vendors here don't give tracking due to some security issues but they keep you updated. Sometimes orders get stuck at U5P5 so not a big issue I think. Wait 4 or 5 more days, maybe it’s all good.
 
If not, try reaching out to your vendor. Hope you get your books soon

This happens often in this business. Never made a purchase from them before but I’ve read some reviews on reddit about their delivery time, which is usually not very fast typically 1-2 weeks. Hope you get your material before long.

Thanks to everyone's replies. Apparently I just need some more patience. I'll make sure to update on if/when i get my books to contribute to our collective knowledge.
 
I have no good things to say about Etizola and would stay away from him. There are many other vendors on here with much cheaper prices and who are more deserving of business.
 
Anyway I am in a similar position to you, was out of the game for a long time and got ripped off. However, etizolabs has been around FOREVER and have a generally decent reputation. I think he ships internationally so it may take a while to come. I remember in the golden days of etiz before the export ban from India it would take 3-4 weeks minimum.

A little wait is no big deal if it’s reliable.
 
They did end up showing up by the way. Proper amount and professionally looking magazine pressings. Opsec leaves a little to be desired in how package was delivered. But overall satisfied with the product.
