another awesome awesome review for Blackstar.

Mid April, a buddy of mine placed an order for some of the ocean cities and odm. His trip to ocean city only took four days but the odm never did land.

He waited 10 business days and contacted blackstar. dude responded back within an hour or two and, lo and behold, the reshipped odm landed a day or two ago.

Will be contacting him in a few days to place another one as he has been 10/10 each time I’ve dealt with em.

Appreciate the OPSEC aspect of it and the fact he takes it as seriously as it should be taken means quite a lot to me.

Hope you’re around forever blackstar…you’re a gem =]
 
Hello - blackstarchem. I’ve reached out a few times over email and haven’t gotten a response. I followed rules regarding sending a message so hoping I was not somehow blocked/blacklisted. Really wanting to get a subscription.

I agree. I feel like expectations are kinda unfairly one-sided when it comes to publishers:readers. Readers are always expecting above and beyond publishers. "Why aren't they responding in borderline real time?!" "I don't understand how you are keeping yourself, and us as readers safe with 0p$ec, gimme tracking immediately!" "What do you mean you don't have top tier connects to every post office, if they're not moving things along?!" Sure, I understand wanting the best! But, as readers, sometimes we don't necessarily present ourselves as quality. If we expect "the best", a little effort on our end, as readers, needs to be made towards showing the same qualities we expect to see. Honesty, clarity, and in cases of unforseen issues, a little understanding and kindness. Just my opinion though, so... Likely doesn't matter much.

That being said... Just had my 3rd experience subscribing BlackStarChem's reads, and they came in record time, for more than fair pricing, and also tested perfectly, exactly what it says it is. Nothing more, nothing less. Another perfect experience.

Some people's happen to come super fast. Thats great. I waited the 10 days and got a reply to confirm shipping info but still no magazines. This was my 1st subscription from them. Unfortunately it's not going great.

Damn …was hoping to put in an order, but not at all loving a few of these latest comments about orders taking longer than 10 days or not landing at all and lack of communication. Hard to trust in anything these days.

And you will be much better served finding yourself a vendor who can meet your expectations. This goes for everyone who has certain standard of service and thinks we may not meet that standard. Please shop elsewhere. Thank you.

I mean a vendor who at least comes through is a good start. Mine was like 3 weeks ago. Still nothing.

I mean if I were a vendor confident in my services I would say something like "Let me give you a chance to change your mind" or "I am truly sorry for the delays, everyone who ordered will receive double to make up for the wait", not what ammounts to "if you don't like the way I'm doing things, go fuck yourself and I won't explain myself" and "I don't want your money if you if you dare to be critical of me on an online forum literally set up to review vendors. Give it to one of my many competitors".

If you don't like people being honest about their experiences with you either A. don't open yourself up to it, or B. do what it takes or make the changes necessary so that people have only good things to say. But maybe instead of taking it so personally and being so obtuse about it, try reassuring the people who have ordered or are thinking about it. It's a forum full of pages of verified (and speedy) vendors. People WILL shop elsewhere, everybody will.

ok but blackstar is great and the real ones appreciate them for it. they shouldn’t have to change their ways to accommodate for needy customers. are you a vendor? no. so why act like you know how you’d respond to needy customers 24/7?

if you think about it, it’s really not possible to “make the changes necessary so that people have only good things to say” because there’s always going to be greedy, impatient, or just overall manipulative customers trying to twist the narrative for their own entitlement. it’s honestly pathetic. i’m sorry for coming on here and ranting but it just doesn’t sit right with me that we as a community are out here making fools of ourselves when we could be giving honest reviews and feedback instead. we need to be better and hold eachother/ourselves accountable.

all i’m saying is blackstar is great and reviews can speak volumes when it comes to reassuring new customers. why cater to those who seem like they are looking to take advantage?
