Hey so been wanting to share something for a few weeks and just been hella busy, so I am late stage liver cirrhousis I dont have a ton of symptoms to speak of, but that is the nature of the disease unfortunaetly. Youill be fine one day and in hospice the next. Well I began working with brmz a bit ago and I did some research on the genre, turns out liver toxiciity is a HUGE COMPLICATION and I have to be hones it is!!!!!!!! Ever since making the switch from flua#$# to BRMZ#$$$ my lower legs look fuckikng horrible again, extremely swollen from fluid retention, water blisters forming, redness, skin feels like a fucking alligator...etc upset stomach, bloating....etc point is only within a month and I have seen this dramatic change. As of the last several years I own and run a nice little book shop customizing in rare classics, its a hobby. Not to much of a reader myself personally anymore, I mean I am not dead, I still occasionally will get into some good old Beatnick shit, Stephen King....do I need say more lo lol on a serious note I hope this helps the younger folks on here, try to minimize what you put your bodies thru because one day you are going to wake up with your balls coming into the bathroom 5 minutes later in the morning from dragging on the floor, your going to look in the mirror anbd see some odl man lookinkg back at you. The good news if your anything like me well then you wont remember a god damn thing as you have been abusing bnzs for 35 years lol lol I make light of this but I am being serious that shit truly is HARSH ON LIVERS!!!!!! and a lot of folks will eat the shit of this ethyl bromaz#$#$ because they feel the intiall onset but poof it disappears so quickly they read more, doesnt help me anyway.

Very scary, hopefully you can get a transplant?

You think benzo abuse is the main cause? Did you use alcohol frequently? From my understanding reaching cirrhosis from benzos is very difficult, but I guess there's always the possibility a new analogue has potential to cause unexpected damage especially if people are taking mounds of them

Damn bro, I see you around here on DBG quite a bit. You've always got something positive to say and I appreciate you for that. Take care of yourself as best you can. I hope your situation can improve. Live if scary at times. I know i could have done a better job looking after my own health, eventually with enough negligence it can slip through our grasp and then we are looking back wondering where it got away from us. Im not a bnzo enjoyer. But suffer from terrible lumbar pain, so there's been a lot of opi in my days. Scripted and extracurricular, its easy to neglect health when your constantly wrapped in that warm blanket. Nowadays I try my best to eat right and all the other stuff healthy humans do. Anyway man, look after yourself and thank you for being a shining light.

Truly commend you for using your diagnosis and past personal choices as an example for others to learn from. It definitely says a lot about you as a person. Not sure if a liver transplant is a possibility or not, but either way I truly wish the best for you moving forward. The Universe has a way of looking after good hearted people, so stay positive and stay strong.

Sending positive vibes your way. 🤜🤛

thank you so much for the kiind words, its weird it never even crossed my mind to not share it, matter of fact propably the first thing was to share my experience to help educate and warn others. I am older man and come from the generation that becausae we enjoy the use of literature to expand our minds/connections/feelings/and all around boundries on the short time we have here on this crazy roller coaster called life I think we have every right to do so. where it ends in my opinion is when addiction begins to effect the ones around us/that love us/known us for a long time...etc its important that we dont lose the connection that me and you just had over this comment as it meant the world to me truly for you to say waht you did. I truly hope my thread creates at the very least curiousity. 🤝

naw as a kid I was heavy into the needle and spoon, ended up with hep C for 20 years then by the grace of god was able to beat that completely however unfortunetly the damage was already done. I have never been a drinker, went thru a party face when I lived and worked in New Orleans as a kid but it only lasteed 6 months. raised in a severly disfunctinal alcoholic home so drinking has always been a turn off for me.(y)

Probably started way back when? Now the old bod doesn't recover so well as it did and effects (and effects of effects) accumulate faster, dissipate slower.

I look in the mirror (only one in my place) and don't recognise that old guy, it's not me. Inside I'm as young (or old) as I've ever been. Don't know how long it's going to last but doing my best to go out fit and healthy. apart from the usual and obvious there is one thing I can say has helped with the dissolution of accumulating stress over the decades - a particular hazard of our lifestyles - is meditation (and exercise of course too). Has helped me enough so I can regulate everything else, enough. Good enough is good enough.

Know it's not your particular issue but since you mentioned it, FWIW - to anyone reading, there's a thread on here about tapering from a heavy benz addiction using n0rd1azpam https://drugbuyersguide.info/thread...rested-in-a-br0m0n0rd1azep-m-taper-log.12520/

Anyway Al, trusting you are well, or well enough - saw someone suggested a transplant.

And everything ends right on time.👍

So true…stress, especially in this day and age, is the Fkn devil and that goes for everyone but especially us anxiety riddled folks and especially even more so us anxiety riddled folks who read mags to cope. Wish you all the best and a miraculous recovery or at the very least limited pain and suffering and many peaceful joyful healthy days!
