I had to go through so much more than blood tests. I had bloods take for 3 months to make sure it was low regularly and then I had to have an MRI and CT scan of my brain. They found empty sella syndrome and this can cause hypogonadism. I've been on TRT for 5 years now though I feel I need the...

    HGH and anabolic steroids

I've been looking into HGH but as a potential aid in helping with the diseases I have. There has been limited research that hormone imbalance can lead to many autoimmune diseases.

Best liver protection - An oral only cycle special

I was in body building but then many of the lads did weights when in pongoland. I got to a decent size of 18.7 stones and was nicely symmetrical. I always used supplements but never did roids.  Anyway, long story short here or I can go on a bit. I drank heavily when in Germany for 3 years...

@Heavenlee that is beautiful. Is that from a song or a poem ? i write poems and have had a few published by a group of poets.  I am in the process of trying to write a book. Dad always wanted me to write as he loved my poems. I have written 20,000 words so far. It's based upon my own life and...

    death

I too lost my 2 eldest brothers and parents in an incredibly short time and I went through some incredibly tough times. Paying for Roman Catholic burials and the funerals, headstones etc made it so much worse. It feels like the world has kicked you to the ground and then taken a shit on you to...

Hi @Conceited it was my father and not my grandfather. He told me that when men died and were replaced with new men,no one wanted to get too close. The reason being that these guys had already fought in Poland first and then in France then were brought back in the Dunquerque evacuation and had...

    Don't Get These Confused

I've been on prednisolone ( prednisone for the US guys) on and off for over 10 years. They are the drug the doctors have a love/hate relationship with as they work but side effects and long term health problems are not a known quantity really. Long story short, in the 40's they used pregnenolone...

@PTFC the one huge mistake and one that really should have seen heads roll was the bluff cove bombing. Personally I cannot forgive this as it was a balls up of monumental scale and basically left sitting ducks. Poor bastards paid for that. I still find it difficult to watch.  The "Tommy boiler"...

    Sciatica

I feel for others who have sciatic nerve pain. I have had it for years and the treatments have basically been varying pain meds then anti inflammatory meds in addition but they don't work. I've had a high dose of corticosteroid orally and still no relief. I was referred to my local pain clinic...

@PTFC the age to enlist has gone up too. I don't know if you watched the TV programme last year but they had guys at 31 going through it at Lympstone. I was close to the limit when I joined up as it was 27 then. My friend is still active after 26 years. He said he us couldn't turn down the extra...

    The Attraction of Xanax

@trvling1 I came across a particular brand of melatonin that really works like no other and hits me like a benzo. It's by Schiff and contains 3mg melatonin plus GABA, Valerian and chamomile. You would think that a forum such as this would not be a place to chat health products but I can't attest...

    The Attraction of Xanax

Ludicrous aversion to any kind of benzodiazepine eh ?  Please don't take this as patronising but many legalised addicts still don't understand the extremely speedy tolerance and addiction with this group of drugs. I was stuck on diazies in 91 and got to taking an average of 70mg a day. I say...

@PTFC. Brains lol. The cherry berets all have been wired up wrong as far as I am concerned. I do have a close friend in 1st para but he really is not right. I try hard not to generalise but it's difficult not to when you have fought with this lot so many times. It's been my experience that they...

@aintnouse my dad passed in August 09. 7 weeks from his 90th. It's a real testament to his will to survive as his body suffered a great deal of damage from the 2 years in Siberia. He lost his teeth but he lost much memory, bone problems due to severe malnourishment and his heart developed a...

@Heavenlee my dad said they feared the American air strikes more than the enemy. I've been to Falaise and to the other places liberated by the 1st PAD. Yes, dad said you could not walk without being on dead and that it was "hell on earth"  enjoy the read. He was a bona fide hero and recipient...

If it's allowed then go the Jan Pirog dot com and his story is there. He was in the 1st Polish armoured division and was at Falaise gap. That one battle made way for the second front to move forward. It was a bloody battle but the Poles were not just fighting for them? They were fighting for...

@Heavenlee both my brothers died. It was a case of live by the sword, die by the sword I'm afraid. They both used smack n crack and did not have the quick end that many think happens. In both cases I think it was really a prolonged suicide, if that makes any sense ? i cared for our parents to...

  1. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  4. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  5. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  6. aBBazaBBa123 @ aBBazaBBa123: @rockychoc How do I contact you?
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.

  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
