    What's the attraction of drugs?

@aintnouse Yeah, benzos are sneaky and scary, looking back. Especially since there aren't that many real horror stories floating around in regular society.  They make it seem like it's such a normal path to take.  Doctor's don't help the cause, in my opinion, by liberally prescribing them...

    What's the attraction of drugs?

Also, I think that all of these trials and tibs have left me with psychedelics as my go to now..  They have no strings attached, push it as far as you want to go, it will warn you when it's too far, and no addictions.  As much as you try to control it, it has the rulebook to enforce...

    What's the attraction of drugs?

As far as the thread subject.  I think it starts with wanting to feel good, then it's kind of I want to feel good and escape, then it's I want to feel good, escape, and not feel bad.  When you get into the not feel bad too much, that's not good.  That's when you should truly address it with a...

    What's the attraction of drugs?

@Kaykr1 I have a long history of benzo use and severe addition, specifically to xans.  I won't go into it, I posted already, but over the course of many yearrs, came around full circle and my doc prescribed me .5 mg Klons.  The seem to affect me slightly differently in a good way.  I am able to...

    What works best for you?

I should mention, while I'm still working with the doctor on the solution and I don't yet know what I will be taking, a warning to all who have had a tendency to abuse things in their life or are addicts/former addicts.  I really like these and they helped tremendously, but as time went by, day...

    What's the attraction of drugs?

@Dickslapperman  It sounds like you had a bit of a fun time with caps, it can be extremely fun.  On the L_S_D, it sounds like you might not have tried the good stuff, maybe.  Some people just don't like it and it's not for them.  However, boring makes it sound like you need to find good A-c_id. ...

    seroxat / paxil aka paroxetine

Also, it is a real pain to find one that works for you, kind of like the bi-polar meds.  Have patience and don't give up.  Don't give up on your doctor either, work through it with them, honestly. regards, chctwo

    Current Events, politics, war, etc.

Wow, an amazing feat.  The first real image of a supermassive black hole at the center of a galaxy (can't remember that name of the galaxy).  I love this type of sh*t.  If your interested, just google it.  The image came out yesterday. regards, chctwo  -moving beyond theory every day.  great...

    seroxat / paxil aka paroxetine

From my personal experience, that was the worst one I tried.  It did help with the anxiety to a certain extent, but was otherwise ineffective, not to mention a terrifying episode of serotonin syndrome.  Very scary.  Lexapro wasn't bad, but I don't even remember why I got off of it.  I'm pretty...

    Keppra

I do not take this particular med, but my disbaled son does and he has never mentioned that particular symptom, but has has not adjusted much at all.  I take 600 mg of Trileptal/day and that same exact thing happens to me, but only when I change the dosage.  When you are going up, it takes time...

    Changa

Ok last thing, lol.  Experiencing today some time periods like I have taken a couple of hits, good or bad as that may be.  Good to me honestly.  The only variable that has changed since the last time I did it is the ritz.  ??  Also, I have decided try (one time)  l_s_d with chan_ga around the...

    What's the attraction of drugs?

@Ringo Have you tried any psychedelics?  They can feel good, feel fun, feel liberating, and you get to see some interesting stuff.  You control how far you go.

Some Warnings (and more): Ok, this is the last post I will make on this subject of Ch_an_ga,  I'm starting to realize that some of my posts are different from what is normally posted.  So, I think maybe this is not fitting properly with the overall feel of the board.  I am learning.  I like...

    Benzo Addiction?

Hi all, I just discovered this thread.  I posted something earlier that could be helpful to those stuck in the hideous xan cycle of addiction and w/d's  It looks like it might belong here more than there.  Maybe someone can find something helpful.  I will say I shared more detail about my...

    Trumpy's Snivelling

Apologize in advance for this one, but I have to say it.  Haven't really had the opportunity and don't really like talking politics because my area, despite being blue due to the demographics here, there are way too many confrontational Trumpys around.  I hate one person more than Trump, but...

U.s.a No Longer An Actual Democracy?

It's threads like this that help me believe that I do still have my faculties about me.  But don't take away my prozac!  I'll drink my water and take my pill like a good little boy.

    I Admit

Wow, I just have to say that all of you are special people.  I can relate to so many things on here, however, I cannot even imagine being in some of your positions.  It makes me sad.  It makes it really hard to read.  If I wasn't on my meds, I would probably start crying and have to stop...

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.

  14. N @ NYStateofMind: I didnt really tell him but he knew I needed a new script since my dr went to jail
  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
