    C@dein getting lackluster

So my doctor didn't give me deeHcee, but he did give me c0de1ne without p@racet@m0l, which my liver will me thankful for. For the first time now i took cody without any other painkillers. Usually para, since that was in the cody i had before and Eyebooprofane, so i thought i should take a little...

    Best Ever Album?

To be clear. Tho you probably didn't misunderstand this. When i said '78 i meant the year 1978 :)  My father raised me on Beatles (and Pink Floyd and Classical Music.) Beatles records and lyrics was the reason i spoke english before any of my classmates. I love all the albums you mentioned, but...

    relative strengtgh of benzos

Very interesting read. Do i read the table correctly if that means Z0lp for example is twice the strength of D1@z? I've heard that thing about benz0s being recommended for short-term use only. Seems that isn't what doctors prescribe tho. There's ton's of people, and i'm guessing many on this...

    Best Ever Album?

I checked when you said it was on your profile. i was two years off, i figured '78. Not a nice thing to say to a lady, that's she seems older than she is, so i apologize :)  I bet you look 25 tho :P

    Best Ever Album?

Yeah. love those too. And ofc i love Teardrop, just seemed a little boring to mention, because it's everyone's favourite ;)

    Best Ever Album?

It's what you would call Country Blues (also know as folk blues, a kind of folk infused blues). Robert Johnson is most often referred to as a Delta Blues musician, a regional form of Country Blues, the Mississippi Delta region specifically, which incidentally is also where Son House, Robert...

All stuff i really like. Particularly Massive Attack. Protection is another of my favourite songs

    Best Ever Album?

Hah! And Glory Box in one of my favourite songs of all time I just love Beth Gibbons. She's so incredibly... chillaxed. And her voice has that seductive bar-room quality to it

    Ylvis, but not The Fox

I'm sure most of you are familiar with The Fox by Ylvis, but being norwegian i feel obligated to plug some of their other stuff which i think is hilarious. I'll post as links so as not to spam the video section on the forum: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EqVGU_N_qw...

Celebrity Death that Affected You the Most?

I agree with you, but i guess what i was asking is that if we had a little more love for people we didn't know maybe the world would be better. That i'm waxing philosophical is usually a sign that it's time for bed. Just have a hard time going to bed when i feel good as it's somewhat rare.

    Best Ever Album?

People are sometimes confused when i try to explain my taste in music. They expect me to name genres. I don't really have genres that i like, i may like them all. Saying that i like all kinds of music seems to make people think i only like billboard top 100 tho. I guess i can't give a better...

Celebrity Death that Affected You the Most?

@runnerlk that quote you have  And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make, i believe to be a universal truth. Btw, when listening to Abbey Road i always wait those eighteen seconds for that last ditty, clearly written by John Lennon (tho they always say Lennon/McCartney)...

    Best Ever Album?

Feel i can't end the evening without posting another song here. Folk again. Not religious, but that doesn't mean this song isn't great. It's like that question Richard Dawkins was asked by a journalist who was mystified about why Dawkins loves Bach's Mass in B Minor, when it's clearly...

Celebrity Death that Affected You the Most?

To my shame i forgot about his death when the subject was brought up. His death hit me really hard. To loose such a great intellect felt like a loss not just for me, but imo the entire world. As you mentioned i didn't always agree with his politics, especially his view of force being the only...

Celebrity Death that Affected You the Most?

I think that while society is becoming more accepting of different kinds of sexuality, the prejudice and sometimes outright hatred of people who are different is part of the reason people are conflicted and resort to substance abuse. The good news, to be somewhat macabre, is that the most...

Celebrity Death that Affected You the Most?

If you haven't seen it, watch Happiness by Todd Solodnz. It's a severely depressing and hard film to watch, but i think it's Seymour's greatest performance, and profoundly moving. But in addition to the films you mentioned, Magnolia, The Talented Mister Ripley, Synecdoche, New York and The...

Celebrity Death that Affected You the Most?

There are times when i think it would be better to be bi simply because of more options, but as i understand it that comes with it's own complications. I'm allowing myself to go off-topic here btw since this is more of a casual part of the forum. Hope that's ok

Celebrity Death that Affected You the Most?

I'm off-topic and I know i'm in danger of offending people here, particularly men, as they tend to be the most sensitive about this kinda thing, but i believe there's very few people that are 100% straight. Maybe very close to 100%, but imo few people score a full 0 or 6 on the Kinsey...

  1. xenxra @ xenxra: @WTF7218 it may as well be that way with how little effort some of the people on here make to find information that's exactly where you would expect it to be.
  2. ontovzik @ ontovzik: When I had long term shingles, lasting two months. All he could give me was a 10 day supply of dilaudid. He looked at the ground while we were talking about it. I could tell he was ashamed but it was the legislature and the governor that tied his hands. He was very upset that non-medical political people, the media, and the scared public were controlling how he treated his patients. Someday those people will need meds and a hospital bed and they will be gone.
  3. ontovzik @ ontovzik: I had a great doctor, he had the true gift of a healer and he stayed on top of all the science. He straight up told me that for many people opiods work for managing short and long term pain.
  4. ontovzik @ ontovzik: He peed it in the snow in my backyard.
  5. WTF7218 @ WTF7218: @xenxra 😆😂. Yes, but only a few brave souls will ever find the number. You must first order a Dirty Shirley from the bartender. Then you must discreetly take the cocktail napkin from under your drink and unfold it. There you will find the map to the location of the phone number, and clues to decipher the code that it is written in.
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: he left his phone number scribbled in a stall at the pub three blocks down
  7. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar I would try one of those easy online ones .. reddit gives useful info about that
  8. Alkazar @ Alkazar: @NYStateofMind I dont really have a history of abusing things, my docotr is just really stingy. I am thinking of switching.

  15. N @ NYStateofMind: @xenxra I was on Adderall since 15 years ago so my dr prescribed that w no problems and then when I lost my best friend my doctor rxed the valiums but
  16. C @ Cheesus: Temp.pm down for anyone else?
  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @NYStateofMind my doctor's have always been pretty open minded if i can actually come in and explain the pharmacological action of the drugs im seeking instead of just telling them why i think i should be prescribed. the only time it didn't work out for me is when i was trying pharmaceuticals for depression ten years ago and suggested they let me try testosterone instead (turns out i was hypogonadal so they made a mistake denying my request at face value)
  18. T @ Testisthebest: Even down here in Florida when the pill mill docs all switched over to Suboxone and/or retired you can still find some pretty liberal docs but you gotta know what to look for. Mine does "pain management, detox, anxiety, etc. And no insurance. My doc writes me 60 5mg Valium, 14 2mg Xanax and asked if I had ever tried adderal to get more focus at work as I told him I run my own business.
  19. N @ NYStateofMind: @Alkazar do they know your history? Like I dont tell my doctor anything about myself except what they need to know,...I was able to get my dr to rx the highest dose of adderall along with valiums ..... if they dont know your history or there is no history I would just come out and ask what is the reason for their mistreatment.... they have no problem billing your insurance or taking a payment for the visit
