    Does alternating benzos reduce tolerance?

I'm only an occasional user but I'm curious. Do people find switching from one benzo to another reduce tolerance/decreases chances of dependence or do you just get cross tolerance among this class of meds?

    The next President!

Donald Trump inherited $300,000,000, as the Financial Times pointed out if he had invested that in the stock market in an indexed fund (and he could do better than that) he'd be several billion dollars wealthier than he is now. He's managed to go bankrupt several times & his biggest money...

does constantly checking TN's, make the package "hot?"

Back on topic, a seller I had ordered from around the time I joined here (they're not listed on the approved or blacklists so I'm guessing I shouldn't mention them by name) indicated that I should check tracking using  www.17track.net I'm thinking that while USPS may report excessive checking...

Taking ambien and still can't sleep?

One other thought on sleep. I also did a program of cognitive-behavioral sleep training online. You can talk to your doc & insurance may even pay for it. Research shows it's as effective as medication over the long-term (meds are more effective in the short term but that effect wears off...

Taking ambien and still can't sleep?

I've had lifelong problems with insomnia & both anxiety & depression diagnoses. The best thing for sleep for me has been b@cl0fen taken with a GABA supplement--it works as a GABA reuptake inhibitor & is very safe w fewer side effects than benzs. I can take it feel relaxed but no...

Does anyone here have an addiction and doesn't smoke cigarettes?

I did have a friend who managed to quit cigarettes by putting aside the money he would have spend and buying more weed with it. That was enough of an incentive for him.

Why Did You Pick Your Screen Name?

I had a hard time on a large forum coming up with a nick so I typed in bitemeok, since shortened to biteme. Now I wish I had chosen something friendlier but it's easy to remember.

    Tramadol

This is my current addiction. I was clean of everything for 15 years and a doctor prescribed these for back pain (I have pretty bad arthritis in neck & back but don’t want surgery as was suggested). Of course he said there was no abuse potential as did a bunch of the literature I read...

Does anyone here have an addiction and doesn't smoke cigarettes?

I was addicted to meth in high school and started smoking when I was kicking that habit. Thankfully I'm off both now. For the amount of return compared to the amount of damage they do cigarettes are a pretty poor choice, but they are the hardest thing to quit.

does constantly checking TN's, make the package "hot?"

Well total # of pills is around 600 w 3 diff't meds. I upped my order to get free shipping, arrrrgh. The most problematic is some @avan, which I haven't used since I was prescribed it 30 years ago. So much for nostalgia. Well I've learned a lot from being here a few days & wish I knew about...

does constantly checking TN's, make the package "hot?"

Thanks blissopifree 2. I have been worried since this never happened before. I'm glad to hear that I'm not going to have someone at my door (my wife would kill me)--a letter I can deal with.  Unfortunately the source (ddship24) has apparently shut-up shop, closed their web site & ignored...

    Smoking Cessation

I quit drinking (used to drink a qt. of vodka a day) and after a year or so had no cravings. I quit meth (again daily user) and after 6 months or so I had no cravings. I quite cigarettes over 12 years ago & I still have times when I crave a cigarette and can even recall the taste of it. The...

    bitme

Sorry the nick isn't very friendly but I adopted it after I was on another board & every nick I tried was taken. I've found it seems to always be free.  I've got chronic back pain & take tram & also trouble with sleep (I found b@cl0fen works great for that especially when taken with...

    Customs

I posted this in another thread, but realize now this is where it should have gone. Sorry I'm a newbie.  Anyway, I have a package that's been sitting in customs for over 3 weeks. Should I assume it's be confiscated. And if so should I be concerned about any repercussion?

does constantly checking TN's, make the package "hot?"

This is sort of related. But I have a package that tracking says has been in customs for over 3 weeks. Should I assume it's lost & if so should I be worried about any repercussions? And yes I've been checking it daily--never thought that would be a problem.

  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
  5. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Sorry for comment below, but I couldn’t delete. Know I see the

  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
