14 Puppies

My wife and I raise Dobermans.  One of our females had a litter of 14.  Usually in the past even in smaller litters we have some kind of health problem with at least one of the pups.  So strange, this time, out of 14 there have been no problems at all.  Anyone ever heard of this?  Our vet says its amazing.  I guess I have to agree!

Have you tested both parents for SAS?  It's a huge problem in doberman especially but many other large breed dogs?

I bred standard poodles..but kept them shaggy...I'm sure he is good with his dogs since all 14 were viable healthy pups. Excellent. Good for you guys. My daddy dog was so kind to his babies. Evn when they accidentally tried to latch on to his "pseudo teat" bwahaa.He kind of wack-a-moled them. Awww. We were like Nazis when we were interviewing owners. We had code words and coughs and gestures.
