One of the great things about donating and becoming a sponsor here is that you get to have a hands on crash course into to bitcoin.    When I got here this time after a hiatus bitcoin was kind of a new thing for me.  Though I wasn't a complete novice I had never sent bitcoin anywhere let alone used it for any transaction.  This time around I decided to become a sponsor so I followed the step by step instructions presented here and got some real hands on experience using bitcoin.  Seems to me its kind of a nifty freebie built into how this place works.
