This is my "first" post, being a lurker for a couple of months,i've hit a new low all because of DEA protocol!

My dr. took great care of me for 9 years after accident,i left for 14 years, now i'm back. far worse off than ever.

My pm doc has seen me

twice since feb. 20th of this year,i have gotten a script twice for t3's,ok....i'll deal with the first script ,2nd one left me closer to my goal but

more frustrated than ever, not to mention excruciating pain. Not wanting to fail a drug screen i stayed away from mary jane

and any other med that i might find on the street.

Why is it that a pm doc, after seeing 2 mri's and an emg, can't prescribe something better with all the proof in the world?

More idiotic laws "designed" to curb abuse, no wonder people are opting for the black market for their meds.

I personally will never try heroin, i have some control over what i will and won't do.

Death is sure to come to me before my time all the stress and

anxiety this pain has caused me, 1 heart attack, doc said was stress related, cancer, the doc said cancer feeds off stress among other things. Major surgery 5 times, some neck and back related.

I've vented enuff, thank you for giving me a place to do so.  Anotherjohnnymac.

So sorry to hear of all your troubles and I hope things get better for you!  Yes, unfortunately all of us are in the same boat. The DEA has every doctor so scared, and it's ridiculous. I could understand a doctor not treating a 20 year old with no records verifying they have chronic pain. I can't understand why the heck a dr would write something so useless for you with all of your conditions and records to back them up.

Welcome to the forum!  I'm sure you will be able to find everything you need if you haven't already since you've been here a while. Let us know if there's anything we can do to help, within the rules of the forum of course. :)

  6. D @ drdrizzy13: yeah i'd rather them win than the Pats
  7. shoutback @ shoutback: Oh and GO SEAHAWKS
  8. shoutback @ shoutback: Anyways I have to get ready to go on my run, it's been fun talking
  9. shoutback @ shoutback: I think when we have open discourse without preconceptions we all agree more than we disagree
  10. D @ drdrizzy13: Oh I totally agree and I agree the War on Drugs was and is a complete failure.
  11. shoutback @ shoutback: I'm not trying to say my point of view is better than others, just think we need to have more open and honest discussion about everything
  12. D @ drdrizzy13: You are right it probably doesn't. It has pretty much ruined my other first cousins live. He is so out there. It just sucks to see ya know. They take it to the extreme.
  13. shoutback @ shoutback: @drdrizzy13 your exoerience does not reflect the overall mainstream
  14. D @ drdrizzy13: yea for sure.
  15. shoutback @ shoutback: This is one of the few places in the internet where we can freely discuss this things and taking reactive stance like fentanyl and zenes are the devil do not promote a heathy discourse on the subject, though I understand admin also does not want to be under constant threat of people like the dea and fda
  16. D @ drdrizzy13: Honestly I can't think of any alcohoclis except for a friends Dad. I haven't drank in 10 years. I don't really hang around peole that drink or go to bars. I just hate being around drunks lol. And going to bars sucks if your not drinking too.
  17. shoutback @ shoutback: We don't work on something and do not continue developing with developing safeguards and appropriate treatment methods we adapt to what we learn. How many people do you know with alcohol addictions ? How many violent rapes and murders do we see happen under someone under the influence of alcohol yet alcohol is not demonized in the way fentanyl is and that affects much less people. Let's not be hypocritical. The prohibition model does not work and this is no place where we should be promoting it
  18. D @ drdrizzy13: I agree with that point.
  19. shoutback @ shoutback: They would not been sought after by mainstream users if things like heroin were not so criminalized
  20. D @ drdrizzy13: portugal demcrined drugs in 2001 for personal use. It worked for a while. They saw less ODs but now it says in recent years it has scene an increase in ODs and drug related crime. So i guess it worked there for a couple of decades lol
