Allergy Testing?

Hi!

Sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot. Wondering about allergy testing and how to do it best. Ive read that some of the test strips for fent can provide a false positive, so wondering if there are other ways to test your stuff. Im hoping to get some O-DSMT for research, but would like to know the quickest/safest way to find out its purity.

Thanks in advance!

The only way to truly test purity is to send it off to a lab.  In lieu of that,  this is what i would do:  Test it with every reagent you have.  For instance, with 0-D$eMT you could hit it with Liebermann (turns black), Mandelin (turns dark green), Marquis (turns reddish orange) and Froehde (turns green).  Those colors are if you use Bunk Police reagents, not sure about others.  If it passes all those it definitely has 0-D in it, but that still doesn't mean it doesn't have adulterants in it.  So you hit it with the f3nt strip.  Comes up positive? hit it again with more powder this time.  Still positive? WHY RISK IT.  Maybe its a false positive or maybe its f3nt, either way it's not worth it imo.  But if the strip comes out negative, then you do the allergy test.  People do this in different ways.  Most just put a tiny dusting on their tongue and wait like four or so hours to make sure there's no reaction.  Aside from allergies, some ch3ms that could be adulterating your stuff are highly active in micrograms and also take hours to kick in.  If it's not something that's active in micrograms you shouldn't feel anything whatsoever.  For best HR, i would recommend doing this again with a slightly higher dusting and waiting at least a day.  And after that i would slowly titrate up both to be sure you're not going to have a reaction as well as to get better acquainted with a new ch3m.  With 0-D in particular the come up can take up to four or five hours so don't redose during same day until you are sure what a certain amount will do over the course of a day.  Psychonautwiki is also an invaluable resource you should check out if you haven't already both for dose recommendations and HR stuffs.  Stay safe!!

@Purplesea No problem! Also contrary to how i wrote it above i would f3nt strip it first.  Either way is fine, just be VERY careful how you're handling it if its a powder.  I would wear gloves until I'm as certain as i can that its clean .  I try to be as HR oriented as possible.  I've had people laugh at me for it and people whose lives I've saved because of it.  Which reminds me....ALWAYS have narcan!! N4All is an amaaaazing resource for sourcing narcan in your area including having it mailed to you at no cost in most states.....

@DoomKitty For the allergy test part, what are your thoughts on doing it like they do in a clinic/hospital.

I'll explain:
1. Make a super small solution
2. Use a sterile needle to pierce the skin
3. Add a drop of the solution on site and wait 5-10 min
4. If swelling occurs then one could conclude that he/she is allergic.

Wouldn't it be a safer method than a tiny dusting on the tongue?

that could work as long as the solution is very minuscule.  i don't see how it would be safer per se, and i doubt the vast majority of people would be willing to pierce their skin to test ever RC they test, so in my mind at least the ultra low dose method of the dusting is highly reliable, the most likely to happen, easiest to perform, and therefore safer method if that makes sense.  Ive never heard of someone having an allergic reaction after not having a reaction to the ultra low dose (dusting) method, and people have been doing it for ages.  If you do the skin method like you described know that swelling is only one possible reaction, and i'm not sure of the absorption bio-availability of that route, but i'd think you'd would still want to wait longer than 5-10 min as the chem could be adulterated with another substance that is psychoactive in microgram (another reason why your solution has to basically be a dusting amount per drop) amounts and has a long come up.  Stay safe!
