Alright to send btc ?

So I'm trying out bitcoin, I'm using btcdirect.eu with bdr wallet.

Now, I have to send btc or euro, no $ option.

So I send btc for the donation, I hope that's alright ?

 
You cant send fiat to a bitcoin wallet address, so not sure what you mean exactly.  But yes, the only way to donate to the forum is with bitcoin!
