Hi - First off thanks so much for the membership and the abundance of information. I had a good time yesterday going through some of the posts and reading up on everything. Learned a lot and laughed a bit.

I have been in terrible pain for the past couple of months I was in a car accident where I tore my ACL and meniscus (still not repaired) and have bulging discs in my lower back. These past months have been quite a struggle for me pain wise and the run around I get from doctors. The highest script I am able to get is Perc 10 and it just does nothing for me. Compounded pain all day long is no way to live. And as a 25 year old, it's tough to think of it as being something I am just going to have to live with. The Doctor game here in NYC is nuts - every doctors office I go to I am looked at as either a dealer or a junkie on top of having to sit in waiting rooms for hours upon hours with real dealers and junkies - it all just confuses me...

Well that's my short story - I guess out of here I would love to continue to learn about pain management get some support and hopefully land with a caring compassionate doctor in the NYC area who actually listens.

Thanks again...

Kind Regards,

AL

A lovely intro AL,

You will find yourself in good company here...

Your story resonates with all of us on this board... Inept doctors who can't separate the 'seekers' from the people who are actually in legitimate pain and therefore need...

At 25, living with pain is a daunting prospect, which is why so many of us seek alternative sources...

May your journey on DBG be the start of the rest of your life..

Need any help, just holler!

~P~

Welcome AL, a compassionate doctor is worth their weight in gold. I wish you good luck with finding one. I pay an arm and a leg to stay with mine because without her I can barely use the arm and leg anyway. I'm sure you'll find some help here.

Thank you 2E - your words are not only true but meaningful.

An arm and leg well isn't that ironic /default_wink.png

Thank you so much Phrenicz!

Yes it is quite daunting and not a place I pictured myself to be a couple of years ago. Not being able to work long hours, exercise, blah blah blah - such is life.

Now just working on taking life back over again and get that happiness I use to have with such ease.

I can sympathize. In NYC you need to find a pain management specialist. The general Drs are all afraid to prescribe pain killers because of all the regulation. If you have already gone the PMS route, keep looking until you find one that is good and wants you to be able to live as close to a normal life as possible. As someone that has suffered from chronic pain for years, there are pain management doctors out there that will help you. Unfortunately, even they are limited in the amount of medicine they can prescribe per month, and it recently got worse because of new these blanket rules they have to follow no matter what your condition.

Hang in there.

Welcome aboard! I hope you are able to find some relief here, and a new doc. Good luck!

Welcome! This site is the greatest thing ever. Hope you find what you're looking for. ❤️

Ant sorry to hear about your pain issues. You should be able to find something around here to get you through this rough patch till you can find a cheaper and more practical solution. You should not have to spend all of your hard earned money for a legitimate medical condition that requires medication just so you can function.

I know you probably don't need anymore advice but maybe you could also find and good physical therapist and chiropractor to help. I have neck problems and the pain meds help but I found a good chrio and he really makes the difference when I have sudden flare up.

Hi Al, glad you found it too. It's the nicest place on the net /default_smile.png sorry you're in pain, hope you get sorted soon as poss

  1. A @ AnnaSofia: he has a hat with names of cartoon villains to fill federal jobs. but keeps re-doing it till he gets who he wants lol
  2. xenxra @ xenxra: I found out through discussions with my PI that federal LE has two proprietary tools for tracing monero but it's only forward tracing.
  3. rockychoc @ rockychoc: Amazing how presidental bs can disrupt an entire mailing system. I mean it was already a hot mess.. just always crazy to watch the trickling effect.
  4. GR8 ChemS @ GR8 ChemS: Hello tonall my brotherd
  5. RiftChems @ RiftChems: USPS also lost 10 billion this year since raising rates. they have been a mess for a long time but its only getting worse
  6. xenxra @ xenxra: @uncharted unfortunately a lot of this bs can be tied back to trump appointing louis dejoy to the four letter during his last term. he had this whole plan to "modernize" their ops by gutting sorting machines and shutting down/consolidating sorting centers plus he has conflict of interest holding shares in private courier companies. if trump does take office, it's probably going to get much worse.
  7. uncharted @ uncharted: @RiftChems It's very reassuring it's not just happening in my city but other's as well, which makes getting a sense of when this whole "slow-down" started easier to pinpoint. Hopefully the next president in office appoints someone to "save the day" aka undo the problems they caused in the first place.
  8. rockychoc @ rockychoc: Not to mention USPS is the biggest mail thief. Check out articles, they exist. They steal because they know they can get away with it. Purposely don't update etc.. and we are coming into winter so now it's gonna be really bad.
  9. rockychoc @ rockychoc: You should really read up on USPS. They have warehouses of untracked mail basically gone. Workers even post the bs from within those warehouses stating managers won't do crap.
  10. RiftChems @ RiftChems: @uncharted its been like this since just before the election. before the election my stuff was scanning then sitting in transit for days with no update. Now sometimes there are 20+ packs with no scan (customers freaking out) and then it updates all the way in their city.
  11. uncharted @ uncharted: I think you might be right about holiday backlog I just would not have expected it so soon this year
  12. xenxra @ xenxra: @Droplogic the one on rentry?
  13. Droplogic @ Droplogic: Beware of the collectivelist; blackmailer
  14. xenxra @ xenxra: feels like the holiday backlog kicked in during like september this year honestly
  15. uncharted @ uncharted: @RiftChems They really have been all over the place this week. Express order's taking way longer than they should and as you mentioned seemingly no scanning at all. This can't be the start of the holiday season, can it?
  16. rockychoc @ rockychoc: Problem *
  17. rockychoc @ rockychoc: Lol I swear we need to start a vendor only thread to warn each other about "probelm clients"
  18. johnnywan @ johnnywan: @PHXINC We can go for a walk in the park while we handle our business. Kill two birds.
  19. PHXINC @ PHXINC: lol all good man just ya know come correct. You wanna do business or hold hands and take a walk in the park? I feel like your member #99. The former. Replying, sorry I was getting my car fixed. 150 ksalols for $200 yall. Who’s got real etizolam/ghb? Hmmmm Let’s go enough games :)
  20. johnnywan @ johnnywan: @PHXINC I feel like a stalker right now lmao but I emailed before reading your site. I apologize!!
