I was concerned by the lack of reviews for this vendor here, and their large minimum order quantities. But they had some hard to find RC's (2C-x especially) so I figured, why not try one for the team. Paid BTC, got a tracking number for globalworldfreight.com which was registered around the same time as the vendor. Tracking showed 'Hold' and DHL as the carrier, but DHL had no record of the shipment. After a week with no change in the tracking, I reached out, and asked about it (sometimes 'Hold' will show for DHL if it missed a truck at a distro, or for other reasons, temporarily).
I was told I needed to pay a $300, 95% refundable "VIP handling fee" in order to release the shipment. Yea, right. No returned shipment, no refund, no reship. Doubt there's even product. From this tidbit, I was able to find a multitude of similar scams using this shipper across Facebook marketplace and other sites. Recommend not feeding the scum.
