Apparently, 1 in 100 people have this, and 1 in 10 take their own lives. I feel very strongly about this topic (having it myself ?). I think it gets sidelined, compared to bipolar, for example.

I have had virtually no support for this and at 35, I feel my hopes/dreams are ebbing away.

Has anyone else have any personality disorders/experience to share?

I am in contact with people that have the same issue and I fully support the cause to assist those that have this disorder. I do not have it myself, but knowing it can hurt the ones I care about I'd like to contribute to this thread if that's alright.

You can talk to me or anyone else that posts around here that are open about talking about their experiences. Thank you for opening this thread reaching out for help, it will also hopefully help a lot of others! So that's a positive thing you've done, think about it that way.

Best wishes,

-VII

I have no personal experience with this, although I was diagnosed with another personality disorder (schizoid). I just wanted to say, though, that the research shows that substantial number of people with BPD are able to enter recovery from it (in the sense that they no longer have clinical symptoms). There was a 10-year study that showed that 50% of people with the diagnosis had at least a substantial period of recovery. The most effective treatment seems to be dialectical behavior therapy & I would urge you to look into it.

I also suffer from it. Not knowing what mood ur gonna wake up in or how many benzos u are going to have to eat to get through that day is what gets me. I go from o to 110 in a milisecond without benzos an the clinic want me off them ffs

  14. D @ drdrizzy13: Yeah it was definitely a hold. Can't blame the refs for calling it. But I've seen many sketchy calls in the past to help the spread or over/under lol.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Wonder how much money was impacted by that last touchdown and holding call back. The refs were flirting with the over/under payoffs… that flag either cost a lot people some money or won them a bunch. But I guess you can’t say it was a bad call, just a very impactful one.
  16. shoutback @ shoutback: Fucking A nfl season is over :( Those were by and far the best teams this season. That Elite D will just stifle mofos. And ya gotta give Darnold his flowers for taking care of the football. That was professional.
  17. M @ meepmoopmeep: Too bad that football season is over now
  18. M @ meepmoopmeep: Seahawks offense left more to be desired (esp during first half) but patriots offense was just abysmal. A win is a win though. Squawk squawk!
  19. shoutback @ shoutback: Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, I seem to have left a little squawk here and little squawk there
