Hello out there . . .

I have been a member for less than 24 hours now and I have spent a lot of time sifting, reading and searching.  If I saw it once, I saw it 100 times, in a 100 different ways, "seek and ye shall find."  I didn't want to come off as a tourist here by stepping off the bus and asking where the Statue of Liberty is, so I read the rules and followed the directions given by the seasoned users and in less than about 2 hours I was able to find the first landmark on my tour and quite easily, I might add, and I didn't even break a sweat.  So, to anyone else new out there, do what you are told and you will find what need fairly quickly, you just need to do a little work.  Most of the heavy lifting has been done for you here, you just need to find where the bricks have been stacked.  I am sure there are other folks out there that found this place for similar reasons to mine, so I won't bore you with my details because I know many of you have the same reasons.  I really never thought I would be here, but desperate times and all that.  Thanks to all those previous posts that lead the way for me today.  I know I have a lot more to learn, but I am confident the truth is out there.  Peace.

Welcome Sadtrentina,

We love members that help themselves. I was shy at first and I had an order done before I ever posted, so I know it can be done. If you have done your homework but still have a question, I'm sure you will find help here.

Welcome, this site is awesome. You will always find answers if you read & when in doubt it never hurts to ask a question. No one will spoon feed you info but they will answer legit questions. So glad you were able to find the info you needed. Nickiean

Hi and welcome!

Be sure and read the thread entitled "helpful quoted information for new members", which is located here in the introductions section. Good info and lots of unspoken rules and etiquette.

glad to have you.

Thank you.  It was the first thing I read actually.  I moved on from there and I am still reading a lot, and learning as I go.  Thanks again. : )

  15. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
