Well, I guess its time for me to grow a pair & introduce myself! Came upon this site by pure accident & am so glad I did. Just reading everyone's posts has been very helpful & informative. This seems like a very close-knit community of ppl who trust & look out for each other... I cant wait to be a part of that! About me: 32yrs young, work hard, raise my 2 awesome boys & just a very chill, laid-back, happy-go-lucky kind of person. I have my daily struggles, but hey!... dont we all?! I just try to keep my head up eith everything that comes my way. I have Chronic Lyme Disease. I contracted it 14yrs ago when I was living in New York. It took doctors 8yrs to finally find a diagnosis & tell me what was happening with me. I live out west now, so most docs out here are extremely inexperienced with treating Lyme Disease, especially in my situation where the symptoms have turned into a chronic condition. I have what the medical profession refers to as "Reoccuring Lyme Disease Syndrome". This will be my 3rd round of treatment coming up in the next few days I have recieved for Lyme Disease in the past 6 years. Treatment consists of having a pic-line inserted into my heart so I can recieve intravenious anti-biotics... its not that fun, but it is what it is. Living with Chronic Lyme isn't that awesome as it has caused major havoc on my central nervous system. The pain in unbearable at times to say the least. I just want to have a better quality of life & to be able to enjoy it to the fullest. That is why I am so grateful to have found this site. I have already learned so much & look forward to learning more & getting to know the ppl on here better. Thanks for letting me ramble on a little bit here!... I hope this long-ass post did not put you to sleep! Thanks again!

Welcome CD, living with that painful condition must be a bitch. There is info here to help you find relief. Read the other post carefully and read a lot of them. Start from the latest post in a thread and work back a few weeks if necessary.

  5. N @ necromedic: It was, indeed, and very soft. Would almost flow through your hands on a hot day.
  6. Mom&PopShop @ Mom&PopShop: I'm trying to remember what the texture was like.. I know it came in a pouch like chewing tobacco. I remember it being cut up in strips like shredded chewing tobacco too, was that the case???

  11. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Bubblegum rack? Like, boobies?
  12. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: Don’t message people about things like veterinary care without taking care to mind the rules you two crazy nuts. More at stake than getting bad info or scammed, there’s predators out there looking for bigger fish and will step on a guppy to get to them. Fishing expeditions aren’t just for private citizens enjoying a calm weekend exploring the lake for a fish hookup. Offish of offishial fishing investigations may be looking for the best fishing hole and scare off the big
  13. xenxra xenxra: what do you mean "what happened to it"? it's sitting at the store on the bubblegum rack like it always has
  14. LatsDoodis @ LatsDoodis: What happened to Big League Chew? That was some mighty fine chewing gum. I personally never had any, but I think of it often.

  19. DougBreyers @ DougBreyers: @xenxra Yeah, and then you went right up to the conductor's quarter and stuck your stinky feet in his face. Could have waited until the train made a complete stop, BUT NOOOOOO
