So guys......i wonder what your thoughts are on the Bruce Jenners gender transformation.  For me, at the beginning I thought "oh, he is just doing this for money" but after thinking long and hard.....i just want to wish her a happy life and lots of luck.  I think she is really brave, i believe the story....i was one of many tweens who had a crush on him back inthe day (he had Dorothy Hammill hair, remember?) but I confess that I do watch Keeping up with the Kardashians fairly regularly, and he did always seem rather feminine.

I thnk she looks beautiful and my heart goes out to anyone that has t live a lie because of public scrutiny.

My Dad told us he was gay after being married to my Mom for thirty six years.....  I always think that is was so sad that he couldnt live HIS truth and still have kids.  He was a wonderful Father...the BEST.  I was definitely Daddies girl!  Livng a lie must be so so difficult.  I hate haters.

caitlyn is beautiful but its has to be so hard on his family, when he talked to chris, i think she thought they where getting back together at some point...i felt her pain...

i think he seemed feminine , he just really tall and i think men that tall seem rather feminine. he first also said he was getting them snipped off and has now changed his mind..

so he is transsexual or transgender?  He will still like women,,which makes him straight but will it make him gay...its all seems so crazy..

i think once he settles into whatever and he keeps it that way, people will say ah, ok....:)

Undoubtedly the hardest on Kylie, IMHO.  She's she so young and dies't seems as mature as Kendall.  That said - to each his or her own.  I am going to hopefullly assume that some scenes were edited.  PS:  I might still have my Bruce Jenners Zips tennis shoes from the 70's.  Wonder if they will ever be worth anything?!!! /default_wink.png

I had those shoes!

She is very brave for doing this publicly now.  I cant imagine the relief she must feel.

i dont think we would need to label her, gay. Transgender, she is just Caitlin.  I pray that her story reachez everyone currently goingt through the same thing and gives them strength.  All people are equally deserving of respect.  ALL people.

I just realized inmy op i said "i hate haters"......shit, that akes me a hater.......lol!  Which I am not.  I don't think I am capable of hate.

I think there is a Y in the name... like Caitlyn

there is susie but i dont think cat ment anyting by leaving it out....

when i think of that name i think of a young kid..caitlyn doesnt seem to be someone 65 yrs ol..if u get me?

I admired Bruce as an Olympic hero and I admire Caitlin for being brave enough to live her true self. I don't believe in being told how to live my life or telling anyone else how to live theirs. She waited a long time for this and I wish her happiness and contentment.

This is a subject very close to my heart for many reasons.  Caitlin does look beautiful, but most of all, she looks happy.  I actually deactivated my FB account because of all of the nastiness being posted.  People can be so so cruel.

Oops!  caitlYn!  Sorry!  I tend to defer to the original Gaelic spelling.....cuz I am Irish!  Lol!  Not that other spellings are incorrect...no!  People can spell their names however they want to!

Thanks Suzie!  I sure would not want to disrespect Ms. Jenner in amy way!

You GO Caitlyn!

I am SO loving the happy humble gentle epression on her beautiful face!  And i LOVE that pic of her in the red dress in the black sports car! Shoot!  Gorgeous!

It is easy for me I don't judge he or she has to live their life so if it makes him or her happy I'm all for it. In the end everyone wants to be happy so whatever makes you happy do it you only live once.

  4. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
  5. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Sorry for comment below, but I couldn’t delete. Know I see the

  11. Realbenzeyes @ Realbenzeyes: I just wish the opioid epidemic never happened. Fk the turn of the century (which would be cool no doubt)! Many of my friends and family would’ve ended up in asylums like so many others. I just wish I could get back all those I’ve lost since the start
  12. L @ Layne_Cobain: 1914 I meant
  13. L @ Layne_Cobain: I often wish I lived during the turn of the century or at least before the Harrison narcotics act or whatever I think it was 1924 the fun ended but anyway yeh being able to get laudanum, ❄️ and amphetamine at the local friendly pharmacy
  14. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Chew on the leaves with a bit of slaked lime and enjoy the mild boost you get from the raw base.
  15. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I’m sure you know the folks in the mountainous regions along South Americas pacific side buy cócà leaves at the local farmers market just to help acclimate to the higher elevation when they have to head up into the hills.
  16. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I would certainly have bought it, swilled it, enjoyed it…. Why not? A little boost in your juice isn’t going to hurt anyone.
  17. R @ Royboy99: Exports were reported to have around 7.2mg per FL OZ, it’s success is what actually led to Coca Cola
  18. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Having cramps and husband thinks you’re acting hysterical (ie. PMS) the doc would either perform a certain massage to relieve the strains of motherhood and family life of that time or send you down to the local apothecary for a bottle of laudanum… A tincture of alcohol and 10% òpìųm. Fun days huh?
  19. R @ Royboy99: @malestrom: yeah thats it, my bad Mariani, yeah i considered that and also its ROA, which was oral so the bioavailability was lower than insufflation, higher degree of purity tho and longer duration … there was a significant marked increase of patents filed by Edison during the time it was released in the US. Presidents were known to use it as well, and the Queen. The pope awarded the wine the Vatican gold medal award
  20. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: I think it was called vin Mariani. But yeah, it was all the rave back in the turn to the 20th century. Original formula Coca Cola did it for a while too. I think it was pretty weak though. Something like 200 mg per liter of wine. Enough to maybe give you a little push but unless you could pound some serious alcohol, it’d be hard to really feel the effects before the ethyl knocked you down on the ground. It was an interesting time period. Laudanum was a “hysterical” woman’s best friend.
