Can the 80 Page Greenbook “cover” be fixed?

I asked this question below and may have worded it wrong so I wanted to ask again before I burned this manuscript

I think the answer to my question (as I’ve checked via Dr Google so far ) is “No, it’s impossible and possibly lethal”, but I wanted to ask - I found an 80 page Green Book by the author O.h Cee. I must have not realized that I dropped the “book” and kicked it under furniture some months ago. Odd for me to do since these novels are pricy I guess I gave up too easily looking for it.

Anyway I found it while moving furniture under a recliner while attempting to sweep up dust. The shape stayed the same, and I can still see its imprint of the title but the books “protection covering” must have deteriorated due to summer humidity.

is it worthless and dangerous now to read as is without the cover all I may be able to do is crush all the chapters and “take a powder” with it ?

I know some people like to crush out a “book” and then read it that way, but I am not like that, I like to read a whole 80 pages as intended, but I think it’s just worthless now

Is that correct?
