Chinese chem prices increasing dramatically?

One of my Chinese peeps told me that chemical prices have suddenly spiked (3x-10x) due to covid stuff.  Not RCs explicitly, but fine chemicals, intermediates, APIs, and at least a handful of RCs.  Has anyone else heard rumors of this?
