Hi there,

I have experienced with both codeine and DHC recreationally in the past. Now however, I have kidney stones and for the first time in my life I have to take medication against actual pain. Consequently, my question to you is: what do you think is better for relieving pain? Codeine or DHC (instant release).

I think most people will confirm that DHC has higher recreational value, but with regard to it's pain relief I'm not sure DHC is the winner.

What's your opinion?

tramadol 100 ret, 3 per day and drink as much beer w/o alc as you can.

That stone will come out or you have to ask for surgery.

Codeine or DHC will not really help you with kidney-stones.......IMO

Have to wait 2 weeks to see a cardiologist. My doctor gives me dicloflenac which doesn't do anything against the pain.

Nice Doctor...in The Netherlands you can bring im to Court for this...

or...you just call the next one and tell him your pain is on 9/10 and if

that does not work...buy yourself a ticket by train to Germany and

look for the next "Facharzt für Internes...or "Internist".

If they don't wonna help you I do have a nice lawyer :-)

DO SOMETHING!!! Welcome in Europe!

I know. Dutch healthcare is superb. However, the pain is okay right now. I have codeen and DHC at home and I was wonder what would be best against the pain. I only take them recriational /default_tongue.png

If the pain gets worse I will call my doc ofcourse. I guess she'll prescribe me tramadol then.

Pain increased today ... Called the doc and had to wait the whole morning when she finally called back after consulting with colleagues. She told me to take paracetamol put to 2 grams a day, together with the dicloflenac which I can take 3x a day.

And you guys, over there in the US... You get oxy or morf for every kind of pain. I don't know what's better. A doc that cannot make you take pk's but leaves you in pain, or a doc that makes you a pk-addict but helps you against the pain... /default_tongue.png

I know this isn't the question, and no I'm not a Dr. but the best treatment for kidney stones that I know of is an herb called Chanca Piedra.  You can order it online or possibly find it at a local herb shop.  Go for the ground herb in capsules over the tincture -- alcohol damages some of the plant chemicals.  The natives call the herb "stone-breaker" for it's ability to dissolve kidney and gall stones.  There are some studies behind it's use you can find if you poke around on google.  It's relatively cheap.  I've never had to use it for stones but it really helps with a consistent stream and emptying out the bladder when on pain pills for an extended period.  Also for me, though not as euphoric, the herb kratom (the red vein variety) works as well as hyd ro co do nes and other lower grade  prescription pain meds.  IMO F3nta nyl is by far the most effective painkiler, but is very tough to find -- don't have much experience with codeine or dhc.  Best of luck.

  16. D @ drdso: It's scary now fr. I'm guessing we're gonna see a lot of exit scammers for former "reputable" veteran vendors. These tariffs/supply chain issues are causing them not to receive product due to seizure/denial. At a certain point they gotta get there money somewhere. Just be careful who you buy from y'all
