Confused - post removed and I don't understand why.

I posted a working site in the International Forum and asked if anyone else had ever used them. I stated that I placed an order and would update everyone as to how it went. Then I got an email from the administrator saying the post was removed because of spam and that I was receiving two "points" on my account. I honestly don't understand what I did wrong. The International forum is filled with people posting websites asking questions and giving feedback. I did the same thing - what did I do wrong and how was that spam?

Hi ktkenda, it simply is against the forum rules to post unauthorised vendors. You are however welcome to put them forward via myself or my moderating partner 2earls.

And here's why I never posted  name of the douche bag who ripped me off. Lol if I'm ever in doubt I STFU! ) the people here are really great though and the moderators are always very helpful in keeping me in line, not to mention the awesome members who also share their knowledge, I'm still a scart rabbit when choosing whom to try out, but eventually I'll be my mouthy bold self, and everyone will just love my japes lol.

Okay, that explains why the thread I had started last night was deleted. I hadn't gotten a PM and couldn't find anything in the forum rules that might explain it. I was starting to think I completely imagined making the thread.
