Admin please delete if deemed inappropriate.This probably known by most, but in case anyone wonders. Simplified article about typical Customs day at JFK airport. Keep in mind this does not describe a typical day since the last step in the STOP act was officially signed into existence on March 15th, 2021 and may be the cause of usps tracking being very dysfunctional lately. Fedex, UPS and DHL have being doing enough to be in compliance since 9/11, but USPS kept kicking the can down the road, but not anymore. USPS has a much higher volume of packages though. Using UPS, Fedex and DHL are the best bet to avoid problems with international shipping now being experienced by Usps until they can comply with new laws/rules:
