My most recent envelope I received from overseas had 4 random holes from a hole punch. Luckily my vendors stealth is A++.
These holes could easily have allowed a qtip in to swab for trace residue, put a worm camera in, or flat out see what’s inside
It went through the Jamaica Ny location which is a first for me. Maybe this tactic is location specific.
