I use a 'lady item' box, which would embarrass the Police. Currenly have 240 bromaz, 100 nitraz, over 100 diaz, 90 midoz, 200 ksalolz, and 90 clonaz. I find it addictive; like collecting marbles! (I still have a big bag of assorted marbles from my childhood).

I just like looking at them, which is a bit sad...

Oh wow !! I Have always loved to collect marbles too !! Still have my collection & not sure if you or anyone remember a game of playing jacks ? Sure makes one want to visit!!  Especially when your out of what you need lately... It may seem a bit on the strange side. I tend to keep what I have in the specially designed urn that holds the ashes of my long lost best friend. My beloved Aussie , named DAISY. She was the best dog a person could have had !! In its own way I find it comforting to no she's still on Gaurd ?

I know of jacks, but never played it. That's a sweet and very unique place to keep your 'stuff'. I doubt anyone would suspect looking in an urn! Clever.

Silica gel is my best friend when it comes to storage - absolutely obsessed with it. I have a massive fear (OCD based) of moisture ruining my meds...it drives me insane... =(

I'm always very excited when I even have enough to constitute a stash. @ElectroNymph, if enjoying a survey of a nice supply is sad, then I am one sad case. It feels like a security blanket, and I'm protected from whatever life is going to throw at me next. Yikes! I sound like I should be in therapy.

Yes, but it's never enough - you always want more! I'd love a perfect collection, thinking of getting some tem@zz soon, lol. ☺

I feel so at home here, hehe. =D

Although that feeling of always wanting to add more, I have it and it's probably not the healthiest thing...

It isn't but it can be applied to alcohol, cigarettes,  cake... ?

...I'll add a little confession here, I stash my sweets. I mean sweets: jelly beans, strawberry laces etc. They all have to be vegetarian/gelatine free, and I vacuum pack them and keep them in a dark place. =)

Tried vacuum packing cake and the poor thing ended up squished...

Sorry, I'm making this thread more derailed than my thought processes. I'll shut up... :/

P.S. I love vacuum packing things!

EDIT: I made up the vacuum packing of sweets.

I welcome a bit of lunacy here and there. Deadly seriousness can get dull.

I love my little collection of pill boxes, preferably antique. The only problem is that since I'm constantly opening and closing, and putting in and taking out of my purse, I break them or wear them out.

I am a collector of antique boxes, preferably tea caddies.  I have probably a dozen or so and I absolutely cherish them.  The first thought that comes to mind when I see antique box I like is "that would make a great stash box".  I have a variety of boxes in different shapes and sizes.....I have one shaped like a pear made of fruitwood from around 1790 that I love putting my dope in.  I have an oak box that was made in 1825 that has a small drawer in the bottom that I used to keep a mirror in.   I totally love having a bunch of little stashes.  I am ocd about certain things so I will keep different boxes for different things and organize and count them and then stash them.  Its kinda fun....I used to pull out all my things at once and marvel about what I was going to do that evening.  Those days are behind me as far as variety goes....I only do one thing now so the variety isn't as great...but it is still fun :)

I came across a moderately sized bread bin a while ago and thought of it as a stash box. I painted it white to reflect light and so it wouldn't absorb heat (really, I did). All going well and good. Then a damp problem begins in the house. Wood can absorb moisture. I was traumatised, I really freaked out over it. Ended up bleaching it to kill any mould then leaving it in the sun to fully dry. Now I gear towards plastic since moisture is such a problem in this house and plastic is waterproof. My partner left her meds out in the room overnight (not meds like mine, luckily for her), and they powdered between your hands by the morning. There's reoccuring patches of mould on the ceiling which I constantly bleach, awful condensation issues which I've only lessened, not cured, and dozens and dozens of clothes with white mould growing on them which we had to wash and put somewhere else. Really grim and it's still going on.

Incidentally...that room is also where I kept my kratom. For. Flip's. Sake.

-_-

But I do have a cute little pocket tin with two rabbits on it, I use that for when I'm out and about (not that I often go out and about).

I assume I'm basic compared to most of your creative minds, I wish I would of came up with some of these a long time ago!

Personally, a fireproof safe is enough for me but might do something like a cut open book that's put on a bookshelf. A book that nobody would seek to read or something along those lines. Getting some good ideas from the users here though, keep the creativity flowing!

Some folk have a spice rack I have a med rack with each little bottled labeled and categorised. There is obviously something anal and entirely wrong with moi. They're kept in a concealed compartment in my kitchen that I only have access to before you think I actually have a 'benzo rack' on display....add a pinch of this and a splash  of that depending on how your day was. Thank me later.

You are insane and its lovely!! So nice when people aren't too cool for school.

Oh..I saw something that you'd like. Cutting the semi circle tops off small bottles. .water bottle sizes..and pulling an opened bag of sweets thru the inside of the semi circle and out the lid. Then fold the edges over and around the lid and rescues the cap. Keeps everything very accessible and fresh.

You could bag your excess meds this way as well..the ones that wont fit in a bottle

Google keywords life hacks, water bottle, and bags. it's on pinterest but the photo cones up without u having to install pinterest.

Night night!

Thanks =)

And I googled that water bottle thing, I think it might take me a few days to actually understand the concept. I'm studying for a degree at the moment and this doesn't bode well for my future career. =(

I googled it and I got a picture of an African man using a water bottle to spray plants...

Ah, for flip's sake, I don't get it. And I don't know if we're talking about jelly beans or code!eeeene either. I've never heard the phrase 'life hacks' before now either. I guess that's bad. =/

  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @hiTillidie i basically gave them a report showing them where they could seize coins from but they decided to do their own tracing and just pointed out the areas that weren't recoverable even though it was already emphasized in the report i gave themm. i bet if i lost 10x as much they would have gotten it back.
  18. xenxra @ xenxra: @SeaDonkey you're probably not wrong
  19. xenxra @ xenxra: @Moonkey you're fine, i've learned to live with it at this point. it's not the worst spot to start scaling into a position here imo - just don't sell the house yet.
