Fake Name Advice

Where do you stand on providing a fake name for the shipping details?

I’ve read in many places seasoned buyers advising against using a fake name. Though I’ve never seen a satisfactory explanation as to why this is.

Perhaps in our collective wisdom we can arrive at a definitive answer to this question!

If you suddenly start receiving packages in a different name to an address that is only associated with specific names it might attract attention as that is a common thing people do when they're buying drugs basically.  Also it wont really protect you legally afaik.  If you accept a package you accept responsibility/culpability basically.  Best to keep things as regular/normal as possible is the general rule.
