Do any of you believe in fast hair growth vitamins? I once got a real real real bad haircut that I hated so much, I wanted to jump off a bridge. This was back in the 90s. I happened upon Viviscal. Read the ingredients and felt comfy taking it and boy.....my hair grew faster than it ever has and was super strong! It was nearly waist length from ear length in 2 years. Viviscal unfortunately carried a high price tag so I didn't keep using it. I just saw an ad for TLS Hair vitamins and was thinking about taking the plunge.

I'd like to also know what are some people's secrets to having that gorgeous head of hair that turns heads?

I henna my hair and the conditioning properties are amazing!

And yes men you are welcomed in here as well!

My sisters hair starting falling out after one of her pregnancies and her hairdresser told her to start biotin. In a year her hair was extremely thick! I'm not positive how much length it added as she has always worn her hair kind of short anyway. It worked for her!

Thanks for posting ladies! I have had a couple of instances where my hair was falling out in clumps. The best my doctor could tell me was "stress".

It's back to normal now, but if I have another hair crises, I'll know what to try.

My doctor recommended Biotin when my hair was falling out in clumps but I was already taking it.  Dr. Oz recommends Biotin too and it's also good for fingernails.  I started using head and shoulders and my hair stopped falling out.

My God, how could I forget biotin...I've taken that since I was a wee chap....definitely over 15 years and it's amazing. Healthy, long, strong hair so much so people convince themselves that my hair cannot be real. That stuff is amazing for hair and nails. I buy it from GNC...600mcg for about 8 or 9 bucks. Small and easy to swallow.

After reading this thread, I bought some Biotin today. Look forward to having hair as luxurious as Allhoney75!

I used to sooo look after my hair. Well, my girlfriend of the time did, she wouldn't let me leave home without conditioning. But, I never really had long hair, bottom of ears longest and I don't have the bottle to grow my current short, but "well styled" according to one of my female colleagues, nor the patience truth be told. I also instantly fell in love with her lol, she is beauty personified. /default_wub.png

You won't be disappointed. One day I was talking to the male attendant at GNC. A rather young chap....mid 20s. He told me his hair was thinning and his biggest fear was going bald. He said he started taking the biotin supplements and using the biotin shampoo and conditioner GNC sold ( I don't use the shampoo and conditioner) and he said his hair became thicker and healthier and he never stopped using them. His hair was gorgeous..... I mean hairgasm gorgeous. So I have faith in biotin. In fact if you look at most hair vitamins, their biggest ingredient is biotin.
I use Nexxus hair products and that stuff, though a tad expensive is amazing. I was using it when the caps were gray and now the caps are black since they revamped the formula so that's a long time.

I've been taking Biotin for a few years.  10,000 MCG's is the best, they come much weaker.  My hair has always been very thick so I notice the difference in my nails more.

Yes, I think the ones I bought are 5000. I am a Redken shampoo fan myself. I color my hair and it seems to fade more slowly if I use a decent shampoo and conditioner.

Part of my budget 2015 plan is doing it myself (even though I hate to). I love my stylist, but she is pricey. Then we go out for drinks afterwards and it gets even worse ;)

2earls - check out esalon.com  I have been using for over a year and I think it is actually better quality than what they use at a high end salon I went to before getting this.  On the website you choose your color very precisely and also how often you want it sent.  I get it every 7 weeks and it is automatically charged to my CC.  Not too expensive (24.00) and they treat you like a queen.

Thanks Suzie, I will definitely check it out. Who doesn't like to be a queen? Besides, I was using John Frieda and now they didn't have it at the store last time. Or they're out of the color I want etc. etc.

I wish I could make it 7 weeks though. I'm doing a dark red right now, and it just doesn't last.

Just the thread I need! I've always had fine hair and with stress, it just gets thinner. I've battled it with nioxin which worked great but it doesn't seem to be as effective anymore. I do take biotin and prenatal vitamins but I've gotta find a new shampoo!

I should have said that the $24.00 included shipping.  I went to the site just now to double check that I gave you the right name and they are having a half price sale for new customers, so price is $10.00 plus $4.00 shipping = $14.00

I was also impressed that they do not have pre-mixed colors for you to choose from but rather each order is custom mixed just for you and the bottle even has your name on it, lol /default_smile.png  Each time before they mix your order they send an email to see if there is anything you want to change.  Very good customer service.

I've been on the Biotin regime for a little while and I'd swear it's already working. It's only been a month!

Get some smooth sexy hair. That's what it's called, really. You spray it on your hair and instant shine. I love it.

  17. xenxra @ xenxra: @hiTillidie i basically gave them a report showing them where they could seize coins from but they decided to do their own tracing and just pointed out the areas that weren't recoverable even though it was already emphasized in the report i gave themm. i bet if i lost 10x as much they would have gotten it back.
