Finally found a good Dr.

I've been going to my same Dr. for a while. She's a very good listener and much younger than most Dr's I've ever used. I never discussed my pain much with her but we talked about it last visit. I was surprised that she was very understanding and wrote me a script. It's amazing that the cost per pill is less than $.09 with insurance, which is roughly 100x less than other means.

it makes a huge difference when you get a doctor who really wants to help patience and who wil work with you to help you get to the best place you can be..

Many docs refuse because of all the gov banning on meds and docors getting in trouble..

i think more docs need to stand there ground and let the gov know there here for the patience...

Amen sister! I can't agree with you more, I'm so glad you finally have a good doctor. I can't imagine having fibromyalgia and being in pain everyday and not having a doctor to help you, by the way, my friend with fibromyalgia I told you about whose doctors will write Meds as long as he quits smoking weed tried committing suicide yesterday. I kept telling him what you told me that there are Meds that help, but he just has it in his mind that weed is a cure all, don't get me wrong, I love marijuana but I can also see that it isn't a panacea for all conditions. I think he just likes to get high, and he's hurting himself, I would think it would actually make it worse also. Because it would just make his symptoms more amplified, you know how weed can do that. Especially indicas which he smokes. I know high CBD can help pain for some but it doesn't do anything for me except get me slightly stoned. So sorry I was supposed to write a few people back but ended up at the hospital with him while they stitched him up and pumped his stomach. He took 90 klonopins, which would just make me sleep not kill me and slit his wrists in the bathtub, but thankfully he did do a good job, but he went sideways instead of down,Mai's mom found him, I just got home after staying with him all night. Maybe after this I'm hoping he might give you're way of trying to get pain management and quit smoking. Anyways, thanks for the update, I hope you have some pain free time for you and you're three kids, you are so young with three young kids, I know it has to be difficult not being able to play and take care of you're own children. Hopefully you will be a happy minion soon. Ps thanks for the note, made me feel so much better! I'll pm you as soon as I can about what was said me thanks again. Love ya!

i have four kiddies. I also do have a pain doc at the moment, I tried to get one when i first moved down here but they wanted to do prescription motrin  or something like that and just norontin...

So not funny....like what will that do?

That is when i came to this place...and im thankful for it...

im now on hubs insurance which is a really good one so im hoping to find a good doctor who will work with me and really want to make a difference in my life..

as for pot, it doesnt only make fibro worse it makes you depressed..there are studies that show depression and pot  go hand in hand...

as for his slitting his wrists the wrong way, he did that on purpose you know..

if he been trying to die for so long , he knows how to slit his wrists to make sure he will not wake back up....

He needs to go into the psych ward, I hope they hold him for while...i would tell the doc that he is suicidal and he been thinking about this for a long time..he needs to be there for while..

they need to work on psych meds and pain meds with him....and they cant do that unless he is in patient.....

and if he really so desperate to be out of psych pain and emotional pain he would do it....

if he doesnt want to do it.....he loves the drama of the whole thing and attention...

Well this is my opinion, im no doctor so i could be wrong..

but i been on the same (bus) he is on.....and for so many yrs....so i do think i see it from his perspective...

I also had  friend i love dearly, that was so much like him...lol i think everyone has a friend like him at some point..

anyway it wasnt till everyone walked away from him, family included, that he would go get help....cuz once there was nobody around to put a show on for and get sympathy...

he had no choice...

he even tried to (commit) suicide again, but this time nobody came to the hospital when they found out...they called an ambulance and did not go with him, or answer his calls...

his sister said you know what you have to do in order for any of us to be back in your life...and if you refuse, well then nobody will be there....you cant keep doing this to use...

its not fair.....if this is what you chose to do well then have fun...but we dont have to watch it.....

well lets just say he finally got help he needed...
