Hello everyone - I would rather suffer the death of a thousand cuts than be rude, so I thought I would introduce myself before proceeding to read the forum rules.  As you can see, I go by the handle Veritas, which is simply a word in a dead language, but that word, at one time in the ancient world, signified to Romans that a man possessed the virtue of truthfulness, which was considered one of the main virtues any good Roman should possess.

It's also one of the Boondock Saint's tattoos.  One of my favorite movies, that.

I look forward to meeting new friends and interacting in the threads.

My father always told me to read the rules before attempting anything - I suppose it stuck with me ;-)

  10. D @ drdrizzy13: Yeah it was definitely a hold. Can't blame the refs for calling it. But I've seen many sketchy calls in the past to help the spread or over/under lol.
  11. Maelstrom @ Maelstrom: Wonder how much money was impacted by that last touchdown and holding call back. The refs were flirting with the over/under payoffs… that flag either cost a lot people some money or won them a bunch. But I guess you can’t say it was a bad call, just a very impactful one.
