Hello everyone - I would rather suffer the death of a thousand cuts than be rude, so I thought I would introduce myself before proceeding to read the forum rules.  As you can see, I go by the handle Veritas, which is simply a word in a dead language, but that word, at one time in the ancient world, signified to Romans that a man possessed the virtue of truthfulness, which was considered one of the main virtues any good Roman should possess.

It's also one of the Boondock Saint's tattoos.  One of my favorite movies, that.

I look forward to meeting new friends and interacting in the threads.

My father always told me to read the rules before attempting anything - I suppose it stuck with me ;-)

The big near-half-pound slab of Hersheys Symphony bar with the BLUE label is hands down the best mainstream chocolate bar in America. You folks over across the pond kill it with Cadbury’s and I won’t deny it’s the best but those damn blue symphonies have me hooked.
