If you live in the northern hemisphere, around now is the time to start planting. If you’re in the US it’ll depend on your USDA growing zone but a search engine can give you some details. Keep in mind it’s technically ill1gał to grow them (somnïferūm) in the US but helping your grandma plant a few for ornamental purposes is not enforced as far as I can tell. Other varieties are not, but could be depending on where you live so research. Like P. Orientale or P. bracteatum which contain a lot of thëbainë which is toxic in high doses and is only really used in farm@ to make oxi hydô oxým0rph etc .Look up grow būsts of the somnïferūm variety and it’s usually people with an acre+ in plain view, being careless, etc.
So I can’t condone breaking a law, but if grandma wants a couple, break up the dirt in her flower bed and sprinkle some seeds on top and press them down lightly (they need sunlight to germinate), then mist or lightly water. Do that every two weeks until you see some germinate. They go dormant over winter and start growing in the spring. You can also plant more in the spring if grandmas don’t survive or you live somewhere without a cold winter or she wants another 1 or 2. They just won’t get as big.
They’ll flower pretty early and that’s when grandma would cut them for a bouquet. A person who wants to cook with the seeds and get rid of the seed pods that have the problematic stuff in them (m0rph, c0deïn3) would wait for the petals to drop off naturally and then a week or so later, they’ll be ready. Again, a search engine can give more info.
People in SE Asia or the middle east lance the pods to collect the sap when it dries which is what 0piüm is, but that’s clearly manūfactuřing. A lazier person would just chop up the pods and stems and cook them in simmering water for a while and strain and do that a couple times then cook that water solution down until it gets low and let the rest of the water evap. Thats also frowned upon by ĻE though.
From there people in other countries extract the m0rph which isn’t too tough reaction wise and then make a horse supplement from that if they can get or make a certain chêmic@l.

Sorry, forgot to add that those that do use it in SE Asia would start very small (pea size) and go from there. I’ve been told that côdeïne converts to m0rpħ so some people like eating it more but someone else would have to give you better specifics on the methods and differences

Gotcha. Thanks so much for your info!

If anyone has any experience about actually prepping and smoking this stuff im all ears

  1. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: Especially if they’re using mitragynine as the parent alk to make substitutes. I think it will affect plain leaf too at the very least it will not be as available as it’s been.
  2. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan @nameofuser11 That’s wild. But basic supply/demand tho, right? In my area all the leaf has been pulled off shelves,
  3. J @ j00ciiez: It sucks they're banning sr17. It seems to be a holy grail for many ppl.
  4. nameofuser11 @ nameofuser11: To clarify plain leaf kratom is not a part of this ban. Mitragynine might be fine. 7, psuedo,mgm15 and sr1708 are what are on the table to be banned most likely but hopefully just regulated.
  5. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @st1ckyf1ng4z and yes , there are already indole alkoloids with tweaked scaffolding ready to take the place of 7/mgm, all with mitragynine as their parent alkoloid. The game of wack a mole starts the minute 7 is officially banned. Its 2013 K2 all over
  6. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan Also, it’s just a matter of time before another alternative pops up on the market anyway….
  7. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan I couldn’t agree more, bro. It’s fucked up. I recognize prices will rise, but it will always be available…. Stock up now while you can at least if you’re preferred read is opiates. As an ex-fentanyl addict I won’t ever touch any of that shit again. I remember when I started to see 7oh pop up, I knew it was going to end like this but I can understand getting rid of 7oh/mgm-15/16. With that being said, they should leave plain leaf alone!
  8. MorfineOrfan @ MorfineOrfan: @st1ckyf1ng4z oh trust, i know that, im helping a pretty big vendor transition, to here and dnm , but prices are going to rise bc of risk. But availability is only part of this whole kratom alks situation. We have a serious problem with society. Last year alcohol killed 178,000 people, last year all other drugs combined killed 69,973 Out of those 38,084 were from opiate/opioids and out of those 0 were killed by 7oh. With these numbers we can see the problem with banning 7oh
  9. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Hell i remember when getting 25g of aphip was like 200$ or so
  10. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Dude wants $150 for 5g... I told him nahh doggy cmon.
  11. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Man im tryin to get this one kat to come off that apvp for 75$
  12. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Cant wait to get the apvp in
  13. token @ token: Afternoon everyone! Hope their day or night has been good!
  14. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: We need to takj bro
  15. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: @RiftChems Hey man PM me
  16. AlHoffman69 @ AlHoffman69: why does tails always act stupid at stupid times
  17. st1ckyf1ng4z @ st1ckyf1ng4z: @MorfineOrfan @nameofuser11 @RiftChems @moai Just because they’re “banning/scheduling” something, doesn’t mean it’s not gonna be available. If you know where to look, it won’t be a problem.
  18. T @ theweedman: hellooo everyone! hola! salut!
  19. MrFuszy @ MrFuszy: Hello yall
  20. AlHoffman69 @ AlHoffman69: back stvthgd
