Have you tried THC / CBD salves (creams). Experiences?

So as some know I live in a "highly" (no pun intended) open area for marijuana. I honestly don't like calling it that so I'll use say herb instead. Herb where I live has been common and very widely used before the whole recreational use of herb was jumping into the ballot boxes.

Anyways out of all my time and experience with different methods of extracting or using herb I had not ever heard anything about Salves. I was given some by a friend who acted like I was in the stone ages when I said "that's really a thing"? Sure is heck popped the lid off and it smelled like really well made butter. But it's made as a body rub and is supposed to absorb the TCH and CBD into your skin to help with pain and of course you get stoned almost like an edible.

That brings me to today when I was mid conversation with someone today and they were telling me how they used "marijuana cream" to help with his pain in his hands from laying tile for many years. He swore up and down by it. I myself have never used it yet and it's just sitting on my desk at work (yes that's how causal it is where I live).

My question to the members here is have you ever used herb infused Salves? What's your experience with them? And would you recommend them to others?

Btw the stuff he gave me was 27% THC / 23% CBD

Much love

  12. shoutback @ shoutback: I think when we have open discourse without preconceptions we all agree more than we disagree
  13. D @ drdrizzy13: Oh I totally agree and I agree the War on Drugs was and is a complete failure.
  14. shoutback @ shoutback: I'm not trying to say my point of view is better than others, just think we need to have more open and honest discussion about everything
  15. D @ drdrizzy13: You are right it probably doesn't. It has pretty much ruined my other first cousins live. He is so out there. It just sucks to see ya know. They take it to the extreme.
  16. shoutback @ shoutback: @drdrizzy13 your exoerience does not reflect the overall mainstream
  17. D @ drdrizzy13: yea for sure.
  18. shoutback @ shoutback: This is one of the few places in the internet where we can freely discuss this things and taking reactive stance like fentanyl and zenes are the devil do not promote a heathy discourse on the subject, though I understand admin also does not want to be under constant threat of people like the dea and fda
  19. D @ drdrizzy13: Honestly I can't think of any alcohoclis except for a friends Dad. I haven't drank in 10 years. I don't really hang around peole that drink or go to bars. I just hate being around drunks lol. And going to bars sucks if your not drinking too.
  20. shoutback @ shoutback: We don't work on something and do not continue developing with developing safeguards and appropriate treatment methods we adapt to what we learn. How many people do you know with alcohol addictions ? How many violent rapes and murders do we see happen under someone under the influence of alcohol yet alcohol is not demonized in the way fentanyl is and that affects much less people. Let's not be hypocritical. The prohibition model does not work and this is no place where we should be promoting it
