Hi all! Just wanted to take the time to say hi and a big thanks for this site, everyone involved and all that you do! Still exploring around the site and reading when I can. Any tips on how to initiate a first contact with a vendor?

Again thanks!

Welcome @Breezee! For contact, seek out details in first post of a relevant vendor thread and contact/subscribe, ask for a menu and away you go! ☺

Mention you are a member of this fine forum too.

Hi @Breezee

I only recently joined myself at the 25th August. I would say the first thing to do is to read the forum rules. I know it seems to be something most would do but I don't think many have. You'll find the admin and grand poobahs are very good and will lead you to good people BUT the admin will not to,erase certain things and will make sure you know it quickly. There is no sharing or meds between members and talking of this in private messages, remember that private message may be private but admin own the forum so have access should they feel any reason to look at these.

I find that most things are well covered but I didn't expect the great advice and topics that are nothing to do with the main business and I've enjoyed these threads very much.

My advice would be to place small orders and spread them among 2 or 3 vendors in first instance and then you get a feel for the way the systems work. I was a little agitated as orders can be shown as processing what seems like a long time but once done they normally shipmsame day or just a day later.

I've ordered from 3 & got gifts in already from 2, the 3rd is known to take a little longer and due to where they are based. It would be good to open a moneygram account as that will come in handy. On my first order I had momeygram want more information but I answered their security questions and it went through.

As I said. I am a newbie myself so feel free to drop a line. You'll find that most everything you need to know is within this place and it will take some reading.

Wiahing you all the very best and welcome to this great resource

  20. ClintEastwood @ ClintEastwood: Robert Duvall and a handful of others were a younger actors coach and always said no one worked as hard as those guys did. Robert Duvall and rest would read the full script 228 over and over, then after the last read they would go into how to perform their character. The young man had made it to meet Al who are greats and pull them to the side. And explain what his coach said. They all looked back and said out of every role you’ve seen me in. I have read it 228 by myself. 🫡 🫢 🫢 🫢
