The only person I know in California lives in Loomis, which I believe is safely in Northern California, so I'm good! LOL

Aaah! Northern California. I grew up in a town named after our most forgettable President. Any ideas? It rains a lot and has fog every morning until 10am.

I give san jose the nod as being nor cal.

the bay is where nor cal truly starts, and since BART is going to extend their lines to san jose soon i'm fine with it being nor cal.

plus i f@#king love the sharks and the quakes.

  8. xenxra @ xenxra: i looked into hiring a reputable PI firm that specializes in tracing crypto with LE partners but they want $200 + $175/hr so i'm not particularly enthused about that knowing they could do a bunch of work just to tell me "yeah your money's gone" and then i'm out even more money from paying them to basically tell me that.
  9. xenxra @ xenxra: @aenima1336 it's hard to say for sure. i did some more tracing last night and they're definitely moving it around a lot. i was under the impression it was one guy, maybe a small group at best, but this could be a more sophisticated group. i wasn't able to go into the fbi yday bc vet's day but i'm going in a few hours. i have my fingers crossed but i'm not expecting anything anytime soon (next few months)

  17. xenxra @ xenxra: if anyone is curious on an update on my situation, i have established multiple trails through blockchain forensic analysis that have provided me credible leads through wallet taint that could allow me to identify the attacker. i drafted out an extensive 20 page report and will be reporting to the FBI directly in person tomorrow.
  18. A @ AnnaSofia: I took a good deal of chem, organic chem, etc when I thought I wanted to go into a certain program but too hard so I changed to a non-bench science. Now I wish I would’ve stayed in lab science for nefarious purposes at least.
